Flat spot in BLM -easy to get there -road is in good condition even if it's gravel and sand. big rig or trailer could fit. tent too. away from the road by 400 feet. we still hear trucks from the road. Nice sunset and sunrise. this site is perfect if you watched the bat flight at the dusk at the national park and you need a quick spot to park in without looking around.

This whole area appears to be closed to camping. There is a sign saying environmentally sensitive area and to only camp at designated areas and campgrounds. There is also a red pole at the big dirt pullout that says no camping. Sad! This spot looks awesome.

Great flat spot near Guadalupe Mtns and Carlsbad Caverns. Stayed here before about a year ago. Plenty of space. Only one warning… it can be VERY WINDY. Both times I’ve stayed here had to deal with strong winds.

high clearance would be ideal but we stayed in our 26ft class c in one of the front sites. didn't see another soul. the caves are very cool to check out!

Chosa BLM Campground - We were consistently getting 30 mpbs download speed and 17 mpbs upload on our AT&T hotspot. Verizon signal also strong, but I forgot to test the actual speeds. Cell service was strong enough for us to both be on video calls throughout the day.

Great location — about 10 minutes to Carlsbad Caverns NP and 25 minutes to Guadalupe. Lots of space. A couple generators here and there, but overall a quiet and lovely spot to camp if visiting the NPs.

good spot, easy to get to, large and flat.

Chosa campground. Between mi 8 and 9 on highway 62 N before Carlsbad, take the Road 424. Very big gravel leveled place with a tubular metal fence. Trash can at each corner. Far enough from highway. Free camping. BLM signature.

Nice spot. Large enough for several rigs. We stayed for just shy of a week. Spoke to farmer feeding cattle. Nice guy. No issues. Very windy. Perfect for bouncing between Guadalupe Mountains and Carlsbad Caverns. Just don’t expect much in the way of services in Whites City. They use the term “grocery store” very liberally. Stayed in our 33’ Skoolie.

Free BLM land can accommodate large rigs. Very windy when we stayed. It's a great place between Carsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Peak
