Description

Follow the dirt road out of Riversdale along the water. There are a few pullouts right next to the ocean. Our VW bus fit snug, but no place for big rigs. Quite a bit of trash on the beach, like everywhere.
There is a new luxury housing development right south of this spot, cutting off the road. The other campspot south of this one doesn't exist any more, and it's hard to say if this one will once the mansions are complete.
Should have cell service, there's a tower in sight.

One local told us it was ok to park here. As soon as we turned the engine off, a man was at the driver window insisting we can’t park here. After a few seconds we could see he really wasn’t happy so we went to the lost reef resort and camped there. $50 bz a night but at least safe. When ordering food at the bar we explained to the bartender what had happened and she said he shouldn’t have said that because he doesn’t own it. She said she’ll be speaking to the chairman of the village.

Perfect spot on the beach. Free. Amazing locals. Just in front of Canadian owners house. Quiet. If you have a boat or jetski, launch can be made on the beach.

We stayed on the lot by the beach just before the dirt road. nobody bothered us.

This was a nice spot for a night while checking out the area. We went down the peninsula and there wasn't much available to camp due to the large amount of property and big houses for sale. but there is a new craft brewery down there that was awesome. this spot is still open. Not big enough for big rigs. but a truck or van can do it. nice an quiet and beautiful view. lots of garbage tho.
