Something not right?

Description

Camping options are harder to find on the Argentinian side and are not as good as the ones on the Brazilian side. We found this location which had a place to park, so-so facilities and a nice swimming pool. We paid 240 pesos although not sure how that was split per person.

Bonito camping. La piscina es genial, la gente es agradable. wifi muy bueno. No hay mucha ubicación pero estábamos solos. Los baños no están limpios y en malas condiciones. No nos duchamos. 7000 pesos por una camioneta y 2 personas.

She told us 5,700 pesos now, by the time we arrive 1 hour later, she told us 6000. Back on her price. Power cut in the evening, no more light or wifi, only advantage the proximity of the falls, that's all

Lovely place with high trees. Warm shower. Swimming Pool. Very friendly owner. easy to get both to the argentinian and the brazilian side of the falls with public transport as bus stop is nearby. 5500 pesos/ night for 2 persons+motorhome.

Report Check-In

Excellent camp when visiting Iguazu Falls.
There is only room for one or two trucks. Other vehicles no problem.
5,500 pppn, 10% discount if you stay more than 2 nights.

Report Check-In

Was not impressed. Highly unsuitable to put down a tent as nothing but sharp rock surfaces.
Wanted 2500 to camp in my own tent. Too much. Photo provided shows the rock surfaces everywhere...

Report Check-In

Nice place. We have a big rig and we have to clean a bit some trees to be able to go in, so now is clean for you!

Report Check-In

Paid 2500 for motorhome + 850 pp per night (even had a small discount on total)

Report Check-In

Good place, well equiped… but wifi is not really good !

Report Check-In

Great place, a little beat excesive price for a family with motorhhome… but really safe when you go to the falls with bus or taxi.
Spot sympa pour une famille, sécuritaire pour votre véhicule quand vous allez au chutes !

Report Check-In

We stayed here in low season and everything was fine. We had enough space with our Mercedes MB917. At the moment she try to charge 2.500/night in a motorhome with two people but if you stay longer you can bargain. Wifi works great near of reception.

Report Check-In

good place to stay in Puerto iguazu. very nice and clean, showers with hot water. 15 minutes from iguazu falls. not a lot of possibilities in low season on the area, and this one is good....

Report Check-In

As other comments said, I was shocked for the very bad camping offer of Puerto Iguazu (If you are in a vehicle I recommend going to other areas).
We spent one night here after rejecting other options.  The lady owner was nice and helpful. But honestly I cannot find the logic of staying in such a small and crowded place. Maybe the pool would be one of the reasons.  We found a bigger camping spot for the rest of the nights.   Also quite expensive this was the most expensive camping of our trip around USD16 per night.

Report Check-In

It was totally quiet here at this pretty campground on Friday and Saturday nights. 2000 pesos per night for 2 people and a motorhome. You can walk to La Aripuca and to Biocentro Iguazu, both worthwhile visits. And you can take a bus (the Rio Uruguay bus) to Iguazu NP for 400 pesos each or to the centre for 70 pesos each. The bus stop is just a few steps away from the campground. Also, Mari organized a laundry pickup for us. 1800 pesos for 3 loads, wash, dry and fold.

Report Check-In

As described. A simple and very quaint campground with a nice pool nice grills and clean bathrooms. Tip: see if you can get the spot next to the house where they have a fountain and ask them to leave the fountain on all night. You’ll sleep better as it drowns out the all-night barking dogs and motos ubiquitous to Argentine municipalities

Report Check-In

The campsite is open. We pay Arp1500 per night for 2 people and a camper. At the moment €7,50. Including electricity, shower, swimming pool, toilet.

Report Check-In

Pequeño camping con todos los servicios. Tranquilo y con piscina...

Report Check-In

Price per person is 200 peso plus 200 for a car. Pool looks pretty cool. We didn't stay here because it was very crowded because of Christmas holidays. Rest as described.

Report Check-In

The place was nearly full when we arrived. Mari very nice. Bathrooms clean with seats but no paper. Wifi reached our spot but not consistently. Better at pool or picnic tables. Good cell reception. It was pretty quiet. 600 per night for 2 people and rig.

Report Check-In

Good campsite in order to explore the waterfalls. Next to the impressive „Casa ecologica de botellas“. Very friendly owner, organized a taxi for us to get to the Brazilian side of the waterfalls.

Report Check-In

Camping situé en dehors de la ville, wifi de mauvaise qualité,douche avec peu de pression. 300pesos par personne.

Report Check-In

Perfect place with very nice owners! They are really helpfull and got a lovely dog. The swimmingpool isn’t clean. But the showers etc are. We recommend!

Report Check-In

Very nice campsite and owner! We spend 5 days here (We camp in our sprinter and grand parents take a Cabañas). Very relaxons! Our children (and us) enjoy the swimming pool!Very easy to go to waterfalls with the help of owners! We recommand it!

Report Check-In

Great place to stay and visit the falls. Friendly and helpful. If it looks closed just slide the second gate open. Contrary to the description the water is potable.

Report Check-In

450 per night for 2 + roof tent, not a bad spot, nice covered area with tables, 4 showers in men's but only one produced hot water (after trying the other 3!) ladies side seemed OK tho. Not many options in the area.

Report Check-In

Shady private campground with cabanas. Lovely shared covered space near the pool with tables and bench seats for those who arrive early enough to ‘stake a claim’!
Everything was as others have reviewed here except that no one has mentioned the mouldy, torn shower curtains.
Large pool, nice bathrooms (apart from the shower curtains) an outside sink for dishes and another for laundry. Very friendly helpful owner.
Some bigger rigs will have trouble getting in to some of the spaces available as there are a lot of trees and some are low. This no doubt limits the number of big rigs they’re able to take. We paid AP$500.

Report Check-In

The camp is ok, but they charged 200 more thsn peninsular camp on the other side.
we paid 150 each = 300 + 300 for our mh.
when we were there it was extremely noisy. just next door a party started at midnight till 5.30 am.
the ower told us next day it's normally absolutely quiet.

Report Check-In

good place for camping, ar$500 for two people and one tent. the owners are very nice people. good bathrooms and there is pool too.

Report Check-In

Nice camping and nice people. The garden and the pool are really quiet and lovely place. 450$Ar for the night with 2 people, a kid (5y) and a camper + electricity. Asado place on Sunday.

Report Check-In

We payed 250 pesos without power. Price with power is 300. The owner seams to accept max 2 rigs. We were 2 campers there and he refused a 3rd one. Shower and toilet at the pool are ok. Good wifi.

Report Check-In

the site is quiet. many area to put the tent. a nice pool, many tables, asado,...
we took a room for 550 pp with ac. BUT Marie Lou the owner seems to be very strong with the rules of the site and one of them is to pay 800 addition pesos to stay during the day and enjoy the place. we kindlu asked to stay for free for few hours waiting for our bus.. but noway. rule is rule. not very human.
