Very nice park in Truro, lots of trails and waterfalls. Feels like something you’d see on Vancouver island in British Columbia. The park is very quiet at night other than the occasional car usually just on weekends playing music. The park staff (who are super friendly) seem to come and go around 8am-5pm. The bathrooms get locked overnight, but overall are fairly clean. Just recently a local paving company DONATED their time and material to pave the entire parking lot to enhance the park, the total cost was over $350,000. Really hoping any larger vehicles coming and going respect this, and do not use leveling jacks or something that could cause damage to this amazing act of kindness done by a local company. I hope people respect this place so it can continue to be used and enjoyed by all for years to come! Love it or lose it!

Gorgeous park in the centre of town. Lots of walking trails. Washrooms. Fast wifi.

Report Check-In

Big parking by one of the entrances of the Victoria park, right by the kids playground and washrooms (water not drinkable). Picnic tables and trees. I called at the park to ask about the staying overnight, they said that the town is the owner and that the official answer the he had to give is no but that most of the time the police won't bother you for one night if you keep it low profile. So we stayed with our 26' motorhome for one night, we parked late beginning of the night (at dark), after supper in town. We were alone, made no noise, stayed inside. A police car drove by, didn't say anything. Slept well. Gets busy real early. Enjoyed the day at the park, it's beautiful and really worth it. Nice walking trails, saw many deers. The kids really liked the playground. Would go again. Saw no signs of no staying overnight.

Report Check-In

We stayed here a few days ago and it was fine. Yesterday we were going to spend another night at this spot and got sent away by very friendly police officers.
They admitted the signing was poor but said the owner of the park does not want people to stay there overnight.

Nice place! Washrooms closed during the night.

Beautiful park, nice parking lot at the end. Two open toilets even outside the season. No bright lights disturbing your sleep but gets very busy in the morning. Lots of locals going for a walk but nobody was bothered by us. By-law enforcement came in the morning but didn't say anything. Only pit toilets during off season. Deer walking by at night.

big flat parking lot at vic park in truro. great spot to crash after awesome day mountain biking. bathrooms are open 24/7 looks like??? and the pool let us use their shower for free. cold shower inside, warm open shower on pool deck. just wear swim suit and you’re set. slept here with zero issues. highly recommended. there is free wifi but the signal was too weak. if you have a weeboost you’d maybe have more luck.
