About 150m off the Parks Rd. This spot has space 5-6 decent size Rigs. There are currently a couple fire pits. You will hear some road noise but only if you are in a tent. This may be an active rock quarry, not sure late on a Friday night. Tents will be on the rocks not the grass. AT&T has one strong bar of LTE. Great spot for viewing the Aurora Borealis.
Edit: it is a rock pit but looks rarely used, appeared to be a locals shotgun skeet range.

We pulled in and hung around a little while. There was a guy on a machine loading a truck. We were surprised since it was a Sunday night. We headed out since we were not comfortable and thought he may say something.
Report Check-InVery large gravel area back off the highway. Trees and bushes separate the gravel area from the road so it is fairly quiet and very dark. Nicer than using a regular pull off area. We stayed here one night.
Report Check-InWe slept there by rainy weather because Dry creek was too muddy. Pretty quiet, but it's just a gravel pit.
Report Check-Inin the evening some locals come here to make shooting excercises. not so funny.
Report Check-InLarge rock out area. Appears to be used quite often with several fire rings and unfortunately, garbage. Also frequented by this who wish to target shoot. Nevertheless, found a cosy spot with a nice view off to the upper right in the grass near trees. Some road noise, but sound carries far around here.
