Entebbe Backpackers Camp | Established Campground

Word of warning. Whilst we camped here there was a theft from a room. Tjere seems to be a problem with the 3 brothers running the place in family matters in fact 1 of tjem told us to leave as there were alot of thefts. We had no problem but my friends returned here and during the night we robbed inside their truck whilst asleep (maybe drugged or sprayed) and computer, hard drive, wallet camera and more taken. Sorry to say this is not a safe place to stay. Also travellers who test oosative from airport come here to quarentine but no warning and no precautions taken in fact they roam around freely even in the kirchen

Staff very friendly, hosts (three brothers) not friendly and even stingy(they wanted to charge me using the kitchen for one time) and reckless(they play loud music almost every night)

Very bad night. Parking is next to bar and noise was continuous until 4am. Never again. We paid 10,000 pppn.

Backpackers in town. We stayed for one night to visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens. Good place to stop if you need to stock up on items found in town. Other guests were quite noisy at night and the 'large' lawn is not that big. Also, not very private but the staff were friendly and helpful and it's cheap at 12000Ush pppn.

Indeed nice place. Stayed there for two nights. Both nights were very noisy due to a group of people talking very loud right next to our roof top tent which lasted until after midnight. Impossible to sleep this way even with ear plugs in. Such a pity for such a nice place.

nice place in middle of tonw. Rooms and grass spots available, clean, hot showers, bathroom would need some maintenance. friendly staff, good wifi.

Nice cheap place with electricity and WiFi. Owner Fred is really friendly. 12,000 pppn.

What a great place! Still only 12,000 shilling pppn camping. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We camped here for three days. We could plug the car in with electricity near by. Large flat lawn and big trees for shade. Everywhere very clean and tidy. One of the best and cheapest places we have stayed in Africa. Only niggle are the showers are not great, but warm at least. Would highly recommend this place. Also easy access to shops and town by walking or taxi.

We really enjoyed camping here for 2 nights and could have definitely stayed longer. Its in a very nice area; leafy green with nice roads and footpaths. There are shops within walking distance including a decent supermarket and restaurant. Camping is on flat grassy area and there is shade if you want. Toilets and showers are very clean. Staff are friendly. We paid 12000 USH pppn. Wifi was okay in the reception area. Restaurant on site with drinks. Secure place to park.

Stayed in a single room on my first night in Africa. $9 pp. Basic but very clean with super friendly staff. Showers sorta warm but in this humidity I didn't mind. Restaurant open 8am to 8pm. Wifi super slow

Nice and relax backpackers hostel with limited but nice space for overlandvehicles. Clean ablutions, though no toilet seats. Decent restaurant with big menu and fresh fruit juices. 10.000 ush per night for a car. Also some dorms, rooms and chalets available for fair prices. Nice staff, who can help, organise or recommend. Some music during day and evening and loud TV in the reception but quiet at night. Free but very slow wifi.
