Something not right?

Description

We camped in the parking area, you could also pull down a driveway for a more secluded spot (might be too steep for some vehicles).Right off the highway so trucks using engine brakes often but otherwise very peaceful and dark. Fabulous sunrise. We paid 8000 colones for 2 people for one night. Use of bathrooms, warm shower, kitchen and great hiking trails. The bilingual hosts were totally cool.

Latest Check-Ins

We wanted to spot the Quetzal in the highlands and decided to camp here. Like said before, the campsite is down a steep hill, no problem for 4x4. Amazing view from the campsite!
Just after installing our rooftoptent we heard and saw the Quetzal!!
Also 7km private trails availble. Beautiful!
It gets VERY VERY cold at night, so if you travel with a tent and only some fleece blankets, reconsider staying here. If you have a good sleeping bag you will be fine.
Update 2024: we paid 7000 colones pppn, so it costs more than it did.

Great to park a camper van or roof top camper on the field. A short walk to washrooms and showers. Just realize that it can get cold there. We were surprised by the cold and had to dig up allll our clothes to go under. The hostel is great. You can buy a dinner, a breakfast, coffee etc, there. We had the meal and it was very nice. There are a few hikes around it that are worth doing! Overall a great spot.

After two closed campsites, we ended up here. We could use the kitchen to prepare our food and could borrow some blankets to stay warm in our rooftop tent. And we really needed it!
Inside the main area (which is at the photo) there is WiFi. Our shower wasn't really warm.
You can camp at the parking or downhill at a little campsite. At both positions you will hear the noise of the climbing vehicles (which can be very loud unfortunately)
We paid 5000 ppn

Very nice place to camp.

As the weather was bad, we spent the night in one of their room. Breakfast, night and guided hike for 40$.
Good place to reset from cold and raining wild camping places.

Still 5,000C pp to camp. We were able to use the kitchen and hangout inside which was nice because it was storming. (We are on a motorcycle.)Very nice lodge/cabin feel. They have a room for 10,000C pp. There was no wifi while we were there.

Great place. Parked on the small parking lot in front of the house. 7000 colones for the both of us and the car. Splendid night it was pretty cold and so quiet. You can use the big and cosy common area with kitchen sofa tables etc. Toilets and showers too. Hiking trail from the property. (5k) Great stop, the owners are young and really nice.
