Very friendly and helpful owner who lives at the property.
There is room for a few cars on the driveway which is secure and locked with a gate at night.
Basic kitchen but does the job fine.
When this hostel is full it does feel busy as it isn't that big.
Enjoyed our stay.

great place, was there for 3 days. Full of hitchhikers

Report Check-In

This is the second time we've come to this hospedaje and of all the places we've been, it has to be our favorite, and that's saying something! The accommodations are good and clean, but not spectacular, the price, at 13,000 pesos per bed, was quite good, but not the cheapest; however, it's the owner and the energy of the house that makes it exceptional. We loved every minute of our time here and highly, highly recommend a stay if you have the opportunity!!

Report Check-In

Very nice hostel, we paid 13500 per bed (doesn't make a difference if it's in a bed or private room), the owner was really nice and gave us a lot of advices. He owns a minimarket just next to the hostel in case you need anything.

Good facilities, great crowd. Small kitchen and open area. Owner is really helpful and always around. Kitchen hours are restricted, but he’s a bit flexible on letting you cook if you need to. A little far from town (10 minutes walk to center) but good budget place to stay.

Report Check-In

One of the only place in this city where you can put your tent, if their is still place.
Everything is cool, shower, owner, wifi, location.
One of the place for backpackers.
When i come, campsite was full, but i stay 2nights in a dormitory, with clean bed, bathroom,...,for 9000pesos/night, and for 10000 you have breakfast included

Report Check-In

The place to be in Punta Arenas! There are two, maybe three places for campervans and a few places for tents in the garden from Eduardo‘s Hostal. We paid 10‘000 CLP / night (2 persons & a campervan), you can use the toilets and really nice hot showers inside the Hostal. In the kitchen and the living room you have always persons for a little chat and also Wifi. Eduardo is very helpful and funny, you can ask him everything. We spent Christmas Eve with Eduardo, his familiy and the other guests in the Hosta - a really nice experience! Very recommended!

Report Check-In

nice sheltered camping for a van or 3 and some tents. also rooms available. nice atmosphere and a cool stove in the kitchen!

Report Check-In

We stayed here in the campervan for 5000 pesos pp. Clean shower and toilet. We arrived at 14:00, relaxed, walked in town and made dinner in the kitchen around 18:30. Perfect. After 19:30 it got really crowded, so we fled to our campervan around 21:00. Shower gets cold when one does the dish wash.

In the end Edwardo had 12 guests. A room costs 9000, if you want delicious and enormous breakfast it's only 1000 more. He gives everyone a lot of information and really enjoys taking care of his guests.

We dropped our campervan at the Soul Van (partner-)office in town and Edwardo rang a taxi for us to the airport, he said it would be 7000 pesos total, don't let the driver charge you more. As we got in the taxi the driver said it would be 8000, but we said 7000 and we took off. At the airport he tried again to charge us 8000 and showing us the numbers on the desk of 12000 but we paid only 7000.

Report Check-In

Good place if you want to sleep in your vehicle; 5000 pppn. The time we were there, they only had a few other guests and the communal places were already crowded.. Hot showers, fast WiFi and an awesome stove to use.

Report Check-In

We stayed 3 nights here. It was the cleanest place I've for long! Hot showers so great. And the owner is really nice and have lots of tips (they opened the hostel 22 years ago).

Report Check-In

Great hostel! 9,000 pesos a night with tight parking for a few bikes or 2 cars. The wifi was fast when it work which was not often. The kitchen is good but can get crowded at chow time. Overall a good place to stay!

Report Check-In

One of the cheapest hostels in Punta Arenas where you can get a double room for 5.000clp pp with breakfast included. The owner Eduardo is very friendly. The rooms are small but bathrooms clean and in good shape.

Report Check-In

Only Hostel in Town where you can Camp with tent and/or car. But only small cars!

Report Check-In

The cheapest and best place we found in town. (9000 for a bed in a 4 bed dorm, breakfast for 1000, camping 5000pp). Very nice atmosphere. Come in early if you want to camp, the camping area is not that big and fills up quickly.

Report Check-In

very nice owner, Good showers and toilets. too noisy to sleep on rooftop tents.

Report Check-In

Nice little hostel in a normal family house. Camping in the parking lot in front of the house. The owner is very friendly and the shower is perfectly clean. All in all a good place to stay in Punta Arenas.

Report Check-In

Stayed here with campervan parked in front drive. Use of kitchen, bathroom and WiFi. Owner very helpful and friendly. Don't be put off by initial appearance of the place from the road - it's very homely.

Report Check-In

Nice place, you can put your tent or rent a room. Hot water and wifi. Eduardo is the owner, nice fellow.

Report Check-In

We went here for the second time in 2 weeks. For camping it's a very tiny place and it's fits probably 3 travel car's. It's a really busy place, but thats ok. Eduardo is very friendly and helpful and always in action. The bathrooms a very clean, couldn't get cleaner for that amount of people. The price for camping is 5000 Clp and for a bed its 8000. For the fantastic breakfast he charge 1000 Clp. We can highly recommend this place.

Report Check-In

Good and funky place. Owner very friendly and helpful. Small camping area and very tight parking. Probably the best deal in Puerto Arena. Spent four nights here.

Excellent value hostel. Family style house/hostel. Currently no space for tents as they are re growing lawn but will likely open again soon. Space for car camping. A large outdoor kitchen under construction which will be excellent. Highly recommend this hostel ring or email ahead in high season it's already busy. 4000 cp per person for camping, 8000 for dorm inside 9000 with breakfast which looked good value although I didn't take it.

Report Check-In

We didn't camp here, just stayed in the Hostal while our truck was getting some repairs. Eduardo the manager was super helpful an friendly. The showers are clean and usually very hot. They could probably use 1 more bathroom in the place given how many people were staying here. For campers, there is a grassy area to camp and maybe 1 truck camper could fit. Wifi was super fast but would sometimes drop out. We paid 7000 pp/night for a private room.

Report Check-In

4,000 pesos per person. Level parking, room for a couple vehicles. Nice owner. Legit backpacker type place. Decent wifi.

Report Check-In

- 3.000 CLP per person
- camping on a small yard of the hostel (really small, about 3 cars max, height limit because of low branches ca. 2.3 meters on one spot)
- lot of noise from the street
- decent wifi
- power only with a long cord (about 12 meters, maybe more)

Report Check-In

good value, small courtyard, nice ablutions in the building, wifi, common area, large kitchen

Report Check-In

Central. This hostel is the owner’s house which he lives in with his parents. There is normally room for one camper in the driveway but it is currently occupied by a broken-down Honda. The owner doesn’t seem to have any plans to move it but graciously let us shower for free.
