Bon endroit pour une nuit. Toilette chimique. Pas d’eau courante et le LTE rentre difficilement.

Endroit tranquille. Bel endroit pour la randonnée pédestre. Toilette chimique à proximité. Tout près du parc de la Mauricie, un endroit loin de la ville.

Belle place pour dormir une soirée ou deux, beaucoup de monde et pas trop d’ombre. Plusieurs spots de rando vraiment le fun. Amenez du deet, il y a beaucoup de moustiques durant cette période de l’année.

Beaucoup de monde vient y faire des randonnées pédestres. À côté de la route mais assez tranquille la nuit si les autres VR le sont.

good for a night. not very level but toilet is clean and hikes are nice. quiet at night.

Stationnement en gravier du parc récréoforestier.
Assez grand pour vr mais assez plein les jours de fin de semaine. Se vide en fin de journée, très calme pour la nuit. Belle randonnée avec chien.

Petit parking sympathique et calme, les fins de semaines il y'a un peu de monde le plus tôt matin pour la randonnée.

As described. There is a network of well-marked trails that begin at the south end of this lot. We stayed last night in our 30' RV; one other RV pulled up at dusk. Very quiet at night but some traffic noise starts early in the morning.

Nice and quiet after 9pm. Parking for hicking.
Tranquille après 9pm. Parking pour les randonneurs. Tres propre.

Parking lot of the recreational park of Saint-Mathieu, right next to La Mauricie national park.
No "no overnight" or "no camping" sign.
Water can easily be found at the river about 10minutes away.

During the day it is the starting point of multiple activities (hiking, climbing and mountain biking).
