I stumbled upon this small campground by accident. It is free and one of my favorite discoveries for a quick overnight. No reservations, first come basis. The campground is small, clean, and has maybe 4 sites. There are clean pit toilets. Camp adjacent to the stream in view of the covered bridge. There is a hiking trail so you can stretch your legs. When I was there in mid to late April, there was only one other person there. This campsite started a theme on my trip to find covered bridges along my route.

Very cool spot. Extremely quiet and peaceful. The bridge is now closed to vehicular traffic due to eroded approaches but you can still walk across it and see 100+ year old graffiti. To reach it take the way via Scottown Road to Smith Road. Only takes about 20 minutes extra.
Report Check-InSmall, nice campground. There is now a $10 self registered fee to camp here.
Had some yahoos come down and drive through the campground revving their engine and honking the horn a few times late at night. Not sure what that was all about.
No cell reception for Verizon.
