This is an informal parking space for people who have their garden in the big garden-colony "Hellersiedlung". Be modest!
A petrol station is close by, maybe there is a toilet.
Hiking trails pass by. If you go around the garden colony you pass the former military airfield of the Russian Army which is a re-naturalised nice meadow now. The gardens of Hellersiedlung were a military airfield before 1945. Near there is also the forest "Junge Heide" and the huge Dresden forest "Heide".
Dresden's nightlife neighbourhood Neustadt and Industriegelände is also near. The Trams 8 and 7 stop there and go directly into Neustadt and into the city center.
It's noisy because huge Königsbrücker Str. is near. Another possibility is to go the Magazinstraße toward south, it's more quiet there.
