This is an informal parking space for people who have their garden in the big garden-colony "Hellersiedlung". Be modest!
Near there are two hills (one with and one without trees) to watch whole Dresden from above. At good wheather conditions you can see the mountains of Saxon Switzerland or even the first mountains of Czech Republik. Also hiking trails pass by. If you go around the hill (with trees) you pass the former military airfield of the Russian Army which is a re-naturalised nice meadow now. Also the gardens of Hellersiedlung werea military airfield before 1945. Near there is also the forest "Junge Heide" and the huge Dresden forest "Heide". Also near is Dresden's nightlife neighbourhood Neustadt and Industriegelände.
Another possibility is the other entrance to Hellersiedlung on Magazinstraße (51.092302, 13.765152), but it's noisier because of the Königsbrücker Straße near there. Or you find another place in the quiet public street Magazinstraße by going more towards south.
