Description
This a big parking lot of a city leisure park with trees for shade and security guards. In the neighborhood there is bars and lounge where students used to go at the end of the week, French and British schools, universities....
On the other side of the park you can take a bus to the historic center of San Salvador. You can also take a pick-up transportation to the top of the huge crater of Salvador volcano (1,5$ 1h) or the bus 103 to the village of Boquerón and then a pick-up for the last kilometer. Then you gonna pay 2$ entrance fee and you can enjoy the great view of the crater from the top of boquerón park or choose to hike the 3-4h round trip inside the crater.

I translated the last post- Be careful this car park does not allow you to stay at night. We had to negotiate hard with 3 policemen to stay one night on the condition to leave at 6 o'clock in the morning!
