Description
Ok spot for the night or it you happen to be floating the Salmon river. Several campsites and a large clearing for any size rig. This section of the Salmon river has 6 or so of these rafting put in/take out points in a 10 mile stretch so if this area is taken just keep driving and you see another every couple miles. Great for a night, not much road traffic at night, quiet

the sites towards the right are for boats (as they have ramps), the sites towards the left are open spaces for camping (muddy if there’s been rain). rigs of all sizes could fit. i wouldn’t call this the most scenic spot, but it is off the road, good for a night. some shade depending on the time of day/where you’re parked, but no real good trees for hammocking due to high weeds (at least in the spot to the far left). looks like this place is free year round, you just can’t stay more than 10 days. surrounded by hills, not in the forest. clean pit toilet. no at&t.
Report Check-InGreat place for an overnight. Rolled in at 5 pm on a Tuesday & there are plenty of spots open. A little highway noise but we'll soon tune that out. Right on the Salmon River. I was told by a nice lady already here that there is no charge here this time of year. Bonus.
Report Check-InOk place to stop for the night. We sat by the water next to our site and watched the Osprey fish. Best outhouse ever!
