Tired of parks by the I84 and railway line? Try this little spot for overnight. We had dinner in Mosier at the Indonesian food cart (Fri-Sun only) then parked up here for a quiet night. Don't forget to do the Mosier twin tunnels trail while you are here. Great T-Mobile service.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice space for overnight, sunset and and sunrise! No issues whatsoever! Quieter compared to being closer to 84 and train tracks!
Report Check-InBeautiful quiet spot. Pulled in after dark and woke up to a gorgeous view. Us + a couple vans camped here overnight. We didn’t have any issues and had a peaceful night
Report Check-InPullout along historic highway 30. Highway 30 is Avery scenic we drove it between The Dallas and Mosier. Would likely have some snow in the winter, but completely clear in April when we passed through. You can hear the freeway some but it’s very pretty. Room for several rigs. Maybe 3-4 level spots and more less level. Verizon had 4 LTE bars. No “no” signs.
Report Check-InSpent a night. No one bothered us. Full cell service. Little to no road and train noise.
Report Check-InAs described, nice quiet place for the area. It was quite windy and there was one car playing music for 30 minutes at 8pm, but I was undisturbed other than that. Beautiful view of the river valley.
Report Check-Ingreat overlook, pretty quiet road, was joined by one other van. very dark, quiet night. lucky with no wind.
Report Check-InGreat spot to stop. I stayed here for three nights and worked at the coffee shop near by during the day. I was the only one there. Beautiful view. Not too many cars passing during the night. You can hear the train but it’s far enough that it’s not too bad. No one bothered me.
Report Check-InStill a great option in 2022! Another adventure van was here when we arrived at sundown. What a view! Not super level but best option on the gorge!
Report Check-InLike the other reviews stated, small overlook. When we stayed there were 3 other campers crowding the small turnout. I don’t think that the neighbors like people camping out here. Recommend for 1 night if you cannot find anything else.
Report Check-InNice spot. Smaller than I expected, but I'm in a van so I fit well. Beautiful view, kinda level, and pretty quiet for the hearing impaired.
Report Check-InWe were the only ones here and fortunately, it wasn’t windy. Very quiet. Full signal. Recommended.
Report Check-Ingreat spot. if you hear something outside beating in the side of your rig....
it's the Wind not the boogie man.
quiet, stoped in after 10 last night, and out before 5:30. Peaceful pull out, and a great spot to eat breakfast in the morning. Can be a windy spot,
Report Check-InThe location is quiet. We were only here while it was dark out. This area of Oregon did have heavy snow recently. The roads were plowed, yet the parking area was not. Despite the snow, we were able to pull off the road enough here to park safely. A vehicle with studded tires pulled in behind us at midnight then drove off after 5 minutes, no knocks of the door though.
Report Check-InSmall side of the road spot. It was pretty peaceful except at 1:30am my husband thought someone was trying to open the doors. And we took off. We headed to the rest area but of course it was noisy.
Report Check-InQuiet, dark, good for a night. nice view over the gorge and not too far off the highway.
Report Check-InAgree, great spot for the night! Quiet and if you pull in as in the photo, very level!
