Lovely campground. Only one open at this time of year (Oct 5/23). Wet and rainy for awhile and not much of a view due to cloud coverage, but I’ve been here before and no those mountains are up there towering over town! Fall colours a beautiful too!

Report Check-In

Community campground- good location, clean showers, water Dump station in town a few blocks away (free)

Report Check-In

It was a nice stop on the to the salmon glacier. Pretty crowded. No bears at Fish creek yet.

Report Check-In

Good camp, very good shower, full pressure and hot. Free.
Very good wifi
Only 23$ dry site

A beautiful treed campground within easy walk to the main street. Mostly treed sites. It looks like the prices have been the same since 2019. Everything is the same as previously described. The host was very friendly & was happy to give us info & brochures about things to do in the area.
Not a lot of rigs here yet. It was a super quiet, restful night.

Report Check-In

Nice quite campground, four blocks from the center of town, dry camping for the van $22CAD+tax, hot showers included.

Report Check-In

Really nice established campground. Bathrooms seem to have been renovated recently, and the showers are free and HOT with great water pressure. Seems like it would be pretty packed in during peak season, but tent camping has its own sections and was nicely spread out right now! Fire rings at the sites, and a firewood shed - $5CAD for an armload. If you plan to go into Hyder for some fudge or pick up some fresh seafood for dinner, make sure to bring your passport.

A lovely spot right in town- with covered picnic area as described. Extremely quiet, with friendly owner. We only used the vault toilets as it was early season but they were in good shape.

I ended up here on this campground after checking out all other iOverlander spots before and they are all just horrible! Whereas this little communal campground is a Gem. And 22C$ per Night for Dry is a bargain with free hot shower- and yeah, that thing is hot and has a lot of pressure. Bathhouse is freshly renovated inside and nice. Help the community and the village to survive, spend this little money here, it's worth it. Closes October 15 for the season.

I really love this campground. You’ve got the forest at the back, mountain views all round, and walking distance to town. The bear viewing site (although everyone I’ve talked to didn’t see anything lol) 15 mins away and the owner / manager was really lovely. Not to mention the price was right. $71.68 for two nights with electrical. Water you can get here and there’s a free sani dump in town. My cats love it too :) Great little place.

Municipal campground. There was an event in town the same week-end and the campground was full. Clean washroom and free shower. Potable water but no dumpstation. Free WiFi. Some sites are small and Rv are one on the other. Not much to do here exept go look at Salmon Glacier. You have to go through Alaska to go so make sure you have your passeport.

Report Check-In

Tired campground, light gravel lot, road muddy in some areas. Overflow areas for tent and small RVs. Most spaces are close by. Lots of shade. Roaming ATT, TMO 2 bars LTE. Wifi works better around site 29. High pressure hot shower. 15/30 amp, water, no dump.

$5CAD for a Hot Shower. Glorious. Pay at the Registration office. Not a lot of room for visitor parking.

Lovely place, old but with everything you need. Les douches sont chaudes et gratuites, il y a de l'eau potable pour remplir son campeur, 22$ en "dry camping". Le décor est magnifique. et le Wi-Fi parfait quant à moi.
La couverture cellulaire aussi.

Pretty campground in Stewart BC. Hot showers are included with the fee for the campsite. As of today prices (not including tax) are: $18 for a tent site, $22 for a non elect vehicle site, $28 for a 15A site and $32 for a 30A site. Was a 1-2 hour drive to Salmon Glacier from here.

Report Check-In

$22 for dry camping as of today. Decided to stay here because I needed a shower. Shower are included in the price. No privacy but the scenery is nice and you are literally in town. Recommended.

free till 10. Juni 2022, ask tourist Information before, otherwise 32 $ dry camping, nice places at the river, firepits, trees for shadow, but many mosquitos, very quite

Pay attention to the location. We missed the turn using coordinates from iOverlander so I'll try to update them now. Anyway, don't miss the turn as there's nowhere to turn around in a 28 foot motorhome with a toad until you get to the Alaska border... and even then it was a very tight squeeze!!
Very hot showers with lots of water pressure are free and unlimited so it makes up for the "camp style" bathhouse. A spider or two is nothing if you've been dry camping for days and are desperate for a long hot shower!
Wifi is free but quite slow and if you park close to the office you can get a signal in your rig.
Paid $28 for 15 amp and they also have 30 amp sites for $32.

We loved this little campground. It is nestled right in the cedar trees and a nice little creek runs right through it. There are clean heated showers and there is a water tap just outside the shower house. There is wifi if you sit by the check in building.. The veiws are amazing and just a short walk to anything in town.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, hot showers clean bathrooms. $22 for a site without services. Average Wifi only works at the office.

Report Check-In

5$ for an unlimited shower if you're not camping here. Nice and hot!

Report Check-In

Had too much alcohol too bring back across the border, so we stayed here. Nice place.

Report Check-In

Very nice spot, way better and less expensive than the other options and within walking distance of amenities. We paid $28 for 15amp. Water filling station on site. Free dump station in town. Hot showers included. WiFi only at office but eat at the hotel and do all your internet there for free while you wait.

Report Check-In

Lots of tall trees. Very nice hot showers free no time limit. Close to town so you can walk easily. The museum was a great stop to see the town history.

Report Check-In

Pleasant city campground just a couple of blocks from “downtown” Stewart. It has a pretty mellow vibe. It has 30 amp, 15 amp and no power sites, at varying prices. Has fresh water, but no dump (the free city dump is a few blocks away). Excellent cell phone coverage, which the other nearby campgrounds (in Hyder and Stewart) lack. The WiFi is very good adjacent to the office.

Report Check-In

Campground set amongst rainforest - old trees with moss surrounding you. Peaceful green sites well spaced. We pail CAD 29.40 incl taxes for 15Amp electricity site. Showers are free, hot and unlimited time. Wifi also included and worked okay on close by sites to office like 26 (Mac had strong signal but iPhone catch was weak.. works fine next to office).Drinking water available , need to use city dump.

Big RV and tent campground. They have sheltered tables for bad weather. Hot showers cost a looney for 3 minutes. Wifi works, but very slow. Potable water. There are fire rings with grill for cooking. Tent camping cost 19 Canadian dollars per site, RV - apparently more (sorry, I haven't checked). There's a lot of shade from the big pine trees. Walkable distance to the shops and cafes in Steward. This place is much more cozy than the RV we park in Hyder.

Report Check-In
