No Overnight Parking @ Haldimand Conservation Area, Wicklow Beach Road, just across the road from Lake Ontario beach. DAY USE ONLY! Provincial Offences Officers are patrolling and laying fines. Pure nature albeit next to the road. Quiet, just the a couple cars and trains every so now and then. No amenities, but there is a boat landing area about 750m away with a pit toilet. No toilet at this location.

Report Check-InUsed the pull off with truck and 21' trailer. A little rocky but no issues. A bit smelly from algae but otherwise a great beach front site.
Report Check-InWe stayed here with a small tent on the beach, it was very quiet. 2 RVs were there too, there is enough room for several groups.
You can swim in the lake too!
I like it very much, hurt myself on the rocks in the lake though. big waves for a lake, or is it ocean?
Report Check-InPebble beach is great, and a swim was refreshing! Seems to be popular day use area, but when night falls it becomes very quiet. Distant trains heard during the night; nothing unbearable. Nearby boat launch has porta-potty : when we stayed, it was INCREDIBLY CLEAN! Mosquitoes are vicious after sundown. We seemed to be 3 boondockers that night : two setup camp near the beach in « parking » along the road. We setup in a parking acress the road. Room for all, without even seing each other. PLEASE DO NOT CAMP AT BOAT LAUNCH AREA, AS THIS IS FORBIDEN.
Report Check-InUsed little pull off, enough space for our truck and trailer as well as another vehicle to park behind us. Lots of other parking spots along the road
Report Check-InVery nice place we loved it. There was a few spots near the water and perfect for a swim. It was very quiet at night.
We will be stopping on our way back.
Excellent spot. The sound of Lake Ontario surf all night was great! Periodic cars throughout the night yet no one stopped or disturbed us.
Report Check-InEmplacement sympa près d’une petite plage. Un train passe pas très loin mais nous a pas dérangé pour dormir.
Report Check-InWe arrived early and parked in the Conservation Area parking lot. All of the little pull out spots along the road next to the beach were occupied by locals enjoying the beach. After dinner they all gradually left and we moved to a spot by the water. The road is very quiet and all we heard was the crashing waves 50' away. No amenities other than a county trash can and the boat launch down the road (don't park there during fishing season). Both Bell and Rogers signal is very weak here.
Report Check-Inreally really nice place to stay. there is few small carpark in front of this freecamp where you can park if you have a van and get your private beach
Report Check-InGreat little spot. There are also little pull offs along the whole road. The area seems relaxed and I can’t imagine locals being a problem if you are being respectful. We stayed near the spot listed but right beside the lake. In the morning you can go to the boat launch area where there is a portapotty if you have to take care of business.
Report Check-InLittle parking spot at a pebble beach. There's quite a lot of trains, but that didn't bother us. The boat launch has 1 dixi toilet and it's a bit hidden in the trees.
There were a lot of musquitos already!
small parking lot across from the lake. Not much traffic. In february no services , however the view is great
Report Check-InStayed here off season. Very peaceful just the occasional passing car. Some friendly dog walkers in the morning, but had the entire beach to ourselves for the most part. It was really beautiful but really cold. The boat launch down the street has no toilet or garbage in the off season, but otherwise we'd stay here again.
Report Check-InNice place with little parking possibilities along the street an one bigger lot. Quiet and very close to the lake.
Report Check-InWe didn't stay overnight but we swam and it was nice, even on a holiday (not so busy actually!). Refreshing water and a bit of wind, most welcome in a very hot day. Lot of seaweeds in the water though.
Report Check-InGreat little find by keep on exploring. The view is amazing. Nice beach to stroll along quiet.
