Wonderful location with a lot of options to camp. We took a left after the smaller twin lake. Tons of firepits to chose from. Wonderful hike with amazing views! 😍

perfect place. Came in on a Sunday evening around 5:00 and there were plenty of spots. We have good signal.

As described. Many spots. These have great views. Ours also had some wind. We camped here 4 days... really nice.

Viewtiful, it gets crowded though. Good cell service 2-3 bars (VZ)

Great spot. Popular and tons of spots all over, but most of the best ones are taken by midday Friday I'd you're looking to stop for the weekend.

Beautiful views of Twin Lakes, close to Elbert Forebay Reservoir which had fishing and SUP opportunities. Short walk to Mount Elbert trailhead (hike is rated difficult) or you can do a 3 mile flat hike around the reservoir which is what we did.

Many great sites here so spread out and give others their space. Also, it seems to rain a little daily! High Elevation. Appreciate the cool temps while the rest of CO is hovering 100 degrees. Whew!

Top notch views that cannot be beat. Paved road all the way to the small loop, then pretty rocky, just be careful but most vehicles should be able to make it no issues. Free and right up the hill from the S. Elbert Trailhead

The views are amazing, and close to twin lakes general store where you can buy snacks, water, and some supplies. Highly recommend it

Plenty of displeased camping, we had a Ford Explorer, Hyundai Tucson, Kia and an old Subaru able to make it to this destination. BEAUTIFUL views, the lake is a short drive away. About 15 mins away towards Leadville is a place called Saturday Mercantile that sells wood, alcohol etc.

Great disperse camping of the road. Many spots under the pines. Fire rings kinda show spots but seems you can go anywhere you can fit. Great views

Pretty much the ultimate Colorado view. There are 3 solid parking spots and a few more deeper in. 4x4 will get ya down low and on the edge. Slow going cause the rocks but we had no issues getting right on the edge.4G service is a bonus!

Absolutely great place to stay, wonderful view.
Multiple sites. Some only accessible with 4x4.

Lots of camping opportunities in a wooded area along this overlook.

There are a couple big rig spots near the South Elbert Trailhead just down the hill.
