Hiking trail head. 1/2 mile or so up there are some water falls during wet season. Many trails start from here, if it's your first time, go out and back on the same route to not get lost. LCS (Lake Chapala Society) hiking club meets at Donas Donuts 9:00 am Tuesday's and Friday's. Expect only gringos in the hiking club. Endless trails!!!! Chupinaya mountain race goes up here.

"Sendero El Caracol" the path makes a loop. Follow the white color here. it's steep to get there, but after that it's milder and the landscapes are magnificent
