Description

State Park about 100 miles northeast of Las Vegas. $45 hook up, $20 no hook up. Not just a stop going someplace else. Nice site and hiking. Reservations call either 800 322-3770 or 801 322-3770. Almost at the same level as Bryce or Zion.

The campground is in a beautiful setting, and generally very clean. The reception staff is very nice and helpful. The campsites are a bit tight, like sardines in a can. Literally; facing forward, facing backward :-)

gorgeous Canyon campground back behind the hills in Ivin Utah. although it isn't 25 per night for hookups but 45 per night we had to stay. we will be here for two nights but will return during cooler weather. so many hiking trails.

Such an incredible place to camp and hike! We had a magical campsite that even had a small and private little cove up against the rock walls. Great campsites, AT&T service was very slow and choppy due to the canyon walls. We hiked Hidden Pinyon and up to the Petrified Dunes and enjoyed every second of it. Spectacular landscape and red rocks

came at night, for a last resort. there were 3 overflow spots left in a group spot available for self check in. water, showers and bathrooms. lots of families but beautiful area. rv hookups if you get lucky.

Amazing, uncrowded bottom-of-canyon hikes on par with Zion. The plant life here is gorgeous in tones of sage and turquoise. Lots of flowers too! Dogs only allowed on a few trails at the moment but the ranger said they are opening them all to dogs soon! Didn’t spend the night because there was no vacancy. $15 just to enter the park so camp here if you can get in!

Great state park campsite. Full hookups on some sites, only electricity on others and no service on the rest. For a really quiet night, suggest you take the lower sites (16 and 17), totally isolated from the rest of the camp. Free hot showers included but you have to pull on the chain to use them. We paid $35 for site 17 which had just electric. Unfortunately you probably need a reservation and the fee for that is an extra $8. Sites are tarmac but most sites lean a bit to one side or another. Takes a bit of levelling. But great hikes/bike rides close by.

There are many different camping spots. Some on asphalt and others on dirt. They have group tent camping spots that were full both nights I was there. The bathrooms are clean and the hosts were friendly. Definitely worth the $

Very nice campground. There are a few sites that are first come first serve. The prices are still the same as noted by the previous post. I wish we could stay a few more days. The staff is really nice and helpful.
