Something not right?

Description

Perfect place to stay overnight surrounded by huge red cliff and a river. The track is in the curve at the bridge.
There is a bigger picnic spot a hundred meters before, it is easier to reach for big rigs, but gets busy with buses.

Latest Check-Ins

Very nice places located directly on the clean stream, but unfortunately totally littered and with shit :( What a pity!

The place is possible for most big rigs too. We stand with our 11to 4x4-Truck at the last of the three places. Very nice place. Not so much trash.
If you follow the footpath, there is a hidden pool (cold water) and a small Chapel, which belongs to the monastery.

Report Check-In

There are 3 possible parking spots for LC/LR size cars. All have trash. The flattest/widest/cleanest is closest to the bridge (40m) but has big trees for privacy. This dirt path deadends just after the 3rd spot and is v uneven near the end —first spot is easy for any car. The camp site located a bit before the bridge mentioned below does have a sign at the entrance, but we didn’t stop to read it.

We didn't find an even place for a tent in the curve. At the picnic spot before the curve is now a (handwritten) sign that you have to pay and telephone number. We pitched our tent right outside the wall of the monastery after getting permission from the guy at the entrance. The toilets in the restaurant are open during the night. Beautiful view of the valley.

Report Check-In

The „real“ picnic spot BEFORE the curve, going down to the river is much more suitable for motorbikes/tents as the one in the curve. Many flat and well prepared spots to pitch a tent.
There is running water from a spring, picnic tables and shade. No one was here when we stayed there. Nice view of the monastery :-)
Going up out of the picnic area is only 4WD or motorbike, no 2WD, a bit too steep and loose gravel.
