Surprised to see so little reviews here. We arrived just before 5PM and there was a line for the “ferry of 5pm”. At 5.25 they started loading the vehicles, at 6 we left and after 7 we arrived at Manaus. So keep in mind in total it takes 2:5 hours!
Update: On the way back, “ferry of 10AM”: arrived at 9.20AM, boarding 10.30AM, departure 11AM. Process took over 3hours. They just skipped the 10AM ride and went at 11AM.
Note that you have to drive on it backwards. At the ferry there are toilets and small shop. Paid 60 because we are a Toyota Hilux ‘with load’ (our camper).
First ferry goes at 5am and the last at 8pm
Our High-Top Toyota Land Cruiser they classified into the F250 Pick up category which is 60 Reales.
Report Check-In35 reais per vehicle. Last boat was at 8:00 PM. About an hour ride to Manaus.
Report Check-InWe can confirm price and times. If you are racing to catch the last ferry at night, think about stopping over here to see the Amazon and Rio Negro merge on early ferry. Several very average rustic pousadas around at about 70R for a private double with A/C. Okay for one night. Friendly atmosphere at port.
