Beautiful, peaceful site under trees which provide shade and wind block. A couple fire circles. Signs of rhinos and antelope. Follow the dirt track off of the main road labeled with a handwritten sign BP 30.6

Fantastic wildcamp. Peaceful, quiet and convenient.
But;
- PLEASE BURN YOUR LOO PAPER
- DO NOT CUT THE TREES
- DO NOT camp too close to the waterholes. This is an incredibly dry environment and animals travel for sometimes days to find water. If you're too near the waterhole they might not come and could literally die. Give them lots of space.
we didn't see any but there was a lot of elephant, rhino ans hyena poop.
Report Check-InIt's a good spot with shade. we have the impression of being alone in the world, far from the road.
there are animal tracks (elephant poo) but we saw nothing.
If you find a fire ready to burn it's our. We were ready to pass the night here. Amazing spot. 2 elephants came and we stayed watching them during 2 hours. But they were getting closer and closer and we finally left because one of them was nervous! Good to stay but maybe not to sleep... It depends :-)
Report Check-Inamazing place. quiet night. we were alone. shadow of the trees. firepits. waterhole and plenty rhinos tracks ! we loved it !
Report Check-InBeautiful camping spot. lots of flat areas. shelter with trees. several small fire pits.. watering hole, almost dry when we were here. Evidence of animal activity but no visitors other than a couple of Pied Crows. Quiet and relaxing.
Please don't cut the trees for firewood though
A very private and secluded spot. Please do not camp close to the artesian water holes, there are two, brackish water. Game comes in from time to time and it is therefore not a good idea to camp close to their drinking spot. This is a delicate and sensitive spot in a vast area, please treat it as such.
Report Check-InCamped somewhat near the waterhole and angled to protect from strong east winds using the big trees. No MTC signal. Great spot, much better looking than the miserable paid camp site at the gate
Heard jackals at night
Report Check-InBeautiful spot in the middle of nowhere. When parked close to the hill, you’re out of the wind. Sunset on the hill is super nice. Rhino coming when we were in our tent. Great spot!
Report Check-InIndeed a very nice and convenient place before the park entrance with many possibilities to camp around the waterholes. Shade and windshelter, very quite, clean and hidden from the road. Please do not cut the trees for fireeood!! Bring it with you.
Report Check-InVery nice and peaceful camp close to a waterhole with birds, rhino and antelope tracks. 800 m from C39 on a good dirt drack with 4 dips that require a bit of clearance. Not visible from the road. No MTC-Signal.
Report Check-InStayed the night here surrounded by nature and nothing else. Evidence of fresh rhino activity but we were asleep when it visited. Firepits around to use but toilet paper was scattered around, please bury or burn your toilet waste.
Report Check-InNice camp no one around. The place has many fire pits. Quite not many animals come to the waterhole. Well hidden from the road.
Report Check-InLovely place to stay one or a few nights. Just as mentioned below
Report Check-InAmazing stop we are waiting for the animals. In the morning many Sandgrouse, an Ostrich and two jackals
Report Check-InWe think both path will bring you to the waterhole, just follow your location on i overlander and you will find flat spots with fire places. We heard hyenas, so be aware. And some elephant poo. The waterhole is overgrown but has water inside. Really nice and quiet stay!
Report Check-InThere can be confusion. There’s this camp, and then there’s another great spot right at the end of the next parallel road : it takes to a real nice waterhole where we were greeted by two giraffes. Very quiet and lovely time there.
Report Check-InAwesome wildcamp indeed! It’s a popular spot, lots of fireplaces around. No people, only oryx, springbok and jackal. No sign anymore along the road, but the dirt track is clearly visible.
Report Check-InWe decided to come here instead of paying for the campsite outside the gate, and we are so glad we did!
Great hidden spot off the road near a small rock cliff. During the evening the stars were incredible, as you are in such a remote area. No one around and we felt very safe staying here.
Report Check-InStill a great spot! Beautiful, shady, lots of firewood, no one around for miles.
Report Check-InGreat spots under shady trees. Lots of firewood and nice oasis to watch wildlife. Watch out for black rhinos coming at night.
Report Check-InCan confirm everything only the wind knows wrote. Peaceful, enough trees to find a nice sheltered place. We saw some animal tracks as well. A lot of firewood available.
