Description

Very nice, park-like setting, in rural farmland. 20 minutes south of Magdalena. 40 minutes from Tequila. Near ruins, and well worth the drive. Fast internet, very friendly host, horseback riding on site, and a good spot to take day trips from. Clean restrooms and showers. Host is very helpful and speaks perfect English. We paid 300 pesos for a full hook-up when we were here.

Look for the sign on the road to turn!

Well, back to Tequila and waiting of some friends coming from Mazatlán, we decided to stay again here on this great place. Meanwhile its like coming home.

Report Check-In

We can highly recommend this wonderful place.
The lovely town is just a few minutes away and you can walk. You find everything you need in grocery stores as well as at a supermarket. Cafés and restaurants close by. The city is safe and we felt safe walking through the city at late afternoon.
The RV park is great. A lot of shadows, a great hot shower, electricity and water an all places.
We planed a night and spent 4 and we are coming back.

Report Check-In

Lovely place to spend a few days in. The ladies speak English and are very welcoming. Super dog friendly, grass to run around in. Full hook up $300 without electricity is $250

Report Check-In

An exceptional place, such adorable owners, everything is done to make you feel happy and safe here. You can leave your vehicle for the day and go by bike or on foot with the very pretty cycle path in the center of the city. This city is really nice and full of charm. The supermarket is nearby as well as the gas refill station. The campsite is perfectly equipped for: water, electricity, drainage for gray water, individual lights, WC, shower with hot water, concrete base in front of each pitch. No height or weight restrictions, perfect for large vehicles (no branches). The site is perfectly maintained, no waste. You can even have a big fire and barbecue. Dogs are welcome. The owner has 3 adorable dogs who are very respectful with other dogs and children. They are loves. It's very hard to leave there, we felt so good and free. Don't miss this awesome place and the tequila town which is 1 hour away.

Great 20 mins walk into the little town.
Wifi worked great! Samantha gave us the router to have in our camper while there.

It has been mentioned before but it is far down the list, don’t rely on google maps or Maps.me this will make you turn to early.

There is a sign for the campground on both sides of the highway, with the one on the right when you come from the west kind of hidden behind the bougainvillea .
At the bus stop on the left is also the driveway.

A really wonderful place! Ended up staying 3 nights. Sam and Bonnie are very kind and have many great recommendations, there are so many things to do in the area! They even loaned us there bikes so we could ride the paved railroad to the next town for a tequila tasting! The 4 dogs are super friendly and we loved them all! Highly recommend!

Report Check-In

200 MEX / Night — were informed one price only even though we don’t have an RV. facilities are clean. We really like Sam and Bonnie and had no issues with their dogs around ours while there.

Report Check-In

a good place to rest for a few days. indeed the road you hear but the friendliness and safety and very clean bathroom makes up for it. the dogs are nice. easy to walk to the plaza via old railroad now bike path.

Report Check-In

This place is gorgeous! Bonnie is Delia’s daughter, and she will greet you when you arrive. There is a clean bathroom with hot showers, full hook ups, water faucets at each campsite to wash dishes. If your a dog lover this is the place for you. She rescues dogs and currently has 7 all whom were very friendly with our female 5 month old puppy. We had another male (5months) with us and they all did fine. Lots of room and grass for dogs to run around and play. A very restful and nurturing environment and lots of beautiful trees around you. She lives on site her phone number is 386 105 6440 and as an extra Bonnie is licensed in Homeopathic Therapy and Chinese Medicine!

Beautiful property. Very clean restrooms. Samantha and Bonnie speak English. 180$MX without hook ups. Many dogs on property some dog aggressive.

Report Check-In

Nice clean spot. Wonderful hosts speak english. Came for a day and stayed a week. Aquaint yourself with the seasonal people living in the houses nearby. (John& Carol) They know the best restaurants, bakeries, and sights. Theres a road out of the south end of town to a viewpoint. Theres a canyon with a waterfall for swimming 1 hour north west called El Manto. So beautiful. On the way theres concrete pool hotsprings. 30 min east is Guachimontones. A group of rock pyramids from 400 bc.

Report Check-In

The cleanest and freindliest campground. Some road noise but not too bad. For an authentic tequila tour ask about Agave Azul in San Juanito de Escobedo 10 minutes away. A small distillery willing to take tours anytime.

Ratracerefugees.

Very nice spot. Hosts are very helpful. Full hookups. Wifi is ok depending on time of day. Very clean bathroom. Nice to be cool after being on the coast. Close to highway but quiet at night. We are the only ones here like so many of the campsites we’ve been to. Love all the dogs.

Report Check-In

A nice place in walking distance to the town square of pretty Etzatlán. However, it is close to the road and there is traffic all night long. We stay Fri/Sat night and there was loud music from the town all night long.

stayed with Samantha and Bonny for 3 nights. Had a great time. In town there was a festival going on (10 days!) with lots of music and fireworks. The ladies took us with them to enjoy the fiesta. Also visited Tequila from here. Very nice campground. Recommended!

Report Check-In

Bonnie and Samantha are lovely hosts and their dogs never bothered us. Nice bathroom and really hot shower. We enjoied this place very much!

Report Check-In

Beautiful park like setting near ruins and Tequila. The bathroom was spotless and plenty of hot water. Each site has a cement pad for tables and chairs. I paid $180.00Mx per night for 1 person with an 18ft type C. A few things, I love dogs but not when they try and follow me into my rig. I called to confirm internet and received no call back. Upon arrival I asked are you usually more busy as Mine was the only rig. This sent the Mgr. into a tirade - not what I expected. I don't know if it was just a bad day but I planned to spend a week and stayed 1 night. It's to bad because this is a great place with lots of shade it's on the main road but very little traffic and no pet noise. Sadly it seemed I was bothering them to be here. This is a first. One may consider one of the many hotels on the same road or the Aguatic Park.

Back again on our return to Sonora. As always Bonnie & rescue dogs very friendly. One more added since we were here in December . WiFi off & on for some reason. Bonny is working on this issue.

Need to update GPS coordinates. Enter this instead.... N 20.77319 W 104.06483
The original coordinates on a Car satnav brings you to the wrong entrance - this new one is right on the driveway that you should be taking. It's only a matter of 100 metres but this is so much easier!
Top notch lovely place, we met Samantha (think Bewitched!) who is the granddaughter of Delia. She is just so nice and friendly and makes you feel welcome. We didn't have Internet as we were too far away but - water, sewage, electric and three of the friendliest dogs. Cannot ask for more and the price for a Class B+ with two people just $150 pesos. Highly recommend a visit here.

Report Check-In

Honestly, the most comfortable camping we've done since leaving the coast. Very calm and tranquil rural setting. Grassy and shady. 5 rescued dogs who are super friendly and owners even friendlier. We had the place to ourselves so the 1 bathroom/toilet was immaculate and we kept it that way. Not far (~40mins) to tequila. TAKE THE LIBRE, NOT THE CUOTA to Tequila. Just as fast and more beautiful.

Report Check-In

150 pesos for two people. Beautiful grounds!

Report Check-In

Such a perfect spot! Pretty, grassy lawn with spaces with concrete pads if you want. Super clean bathrooms, hot steamy shower. Water and electricity, no wifi while we were there but we didn't ask. Owner Bonnie is awesome and so nice! 30 min walk to nice little town.

Report Check-In

Great small mini rv park. A few spaces with cement pads. The grounds are very clean and the staff very attentive. There is a single bathroom to share but it's clean and well maintained. It feels a bit like camping in someone's large yard. :) charged us 150 pesos. Good solid wifi too!

Report Check-In

Very nice. Both Google and Garmin maps directed us to the wrong place, it is the driveway about 100 meter just to the east of where they say to turn. Nice for tents, good shower, decent internet, your choice of grass or concrete pads for tents or sitting on.

Report Check-In

Really really pretty and exactly what we look for. Grassy, well kept campground under big trees with solid wifi from our spot. The owner has 3 happy dogs, 2 weimeraners, and a German shepherd mix- they're all super sweet and happy. (The owners mama stopped by with her dog Gadaffi- he went after my schnauzer and left a puncture wound- so be a bit wary of him if he's around). Clean hot showers. Happy caretakers. We were the only ones here- it's the off season. Their new hot water heater was being fussy at first. They got it working but discounted our cost from $150 to $100 for each night. It's a nice walk from the campground to the plaza along a paved walkway. Get the ice cream at the paleteria on the north side of the plaza- it's unbelievable. Any size rig can fit here.

Report Check-In

Very nice host! Many cool things to check out nearby--pyramids, distillery, hot spring. Beautiful green campsite with wifi, hot showers and sweet dogs. $150pesos.

Report Check-In

Very nice, park like setting, in rural farmland. 20 minutes south of Magdalena 40 minutes from Tequila. Near ruins, and we'll worth the drive. Fast internet, very friendly host, horseback riding on site, and a good spot to take day trips from. Clean restrooms and showers. Host is very helpful and speaks perfect English. I believe bigger rigs would be fine here but the Church's book says rigs over 35' would have trouble. We paid 120 pesos when we were here.

Report Check-In

- 80 pesos
- water, electricity
- very nice area, parking on grass, concrete pads
- nice hot shower and flushing toilet
- nice owners, they can recommend a tequila distillery tour in the area, so you don't have to drive to the city of Tequila, plus some other interesting points in the area
