Description

Beautiful place to camp in the Tiras Mountains area on a farm. Reception is at the farmhouse, and the campground is across the road. Just two campsites built into the side of a rock outcrop - each with its own spotless private ablutions. Both sites have very nice braai and wash up area as well as a shaded space for eating. The upper site has a covered porch built above the ablutions and a fire pit. Beautiful views of the mountains. No electricity except a solar light in the shower. Perfect for enjoying the night sky. Very peaceful and quiet. N$170 per person per night

Very beautiful place and very kind owners. We had the farm cottage; a small but fine little house with bedroom, small kitchen, toilet and hot shower. Very comfortable and clean, it's located behind the main house so not at the campsite. We didn't take the bedding option, and paid 560 nad for two. Very good value for money. The scenery is beautiful, nice to do a walk at their land at the other side of the road.

Peaceful with beautiful views especially sunrise and sunset. We booked the hut but chose our tent as the hut is quite small and we werent sure of the matresses. Kindly hostess sorted out a water problem quickly

This is a gem of a find when the weather is freezing if your cycling.
Stayed in the cottage with a kitchenette with pots, pans, cutlery and a twin gas stove which is a big bonus for us.
Anita is a lovely lady and let us have oranges from here tree.
Very clean with attached shower and toilet.
$260n with using room with own sleeping gear or $320 including sheets etc.
Also has camping and a bush camp.
One of the nicest places, location and lady I have in Namibia.
Would of stayed longer but pushed for time.

Paid 260 x 2 for a cottage with twin beds. It is 50 more for bedding per person and (I think) 50 more for solo travellers- still great value. Discounts for staying more than 1 night. Well equipped and very clean although water only warm in the morning (but hot in afternoon). Anita agreed to transport our bags (and bikes?) up to the main road in the morning as it would be an unpleasant push through sand, but okay coming down. Had small kitchen with gas stove. Table and brai outside. Very clean. BUT no electricity points unless you have a car charger. Anita gave us oranges off the tree. Really beautiful location. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for two nights and because both „regular“ campsites were booked for the first night, we had a look at the „rustic campsite“. What can I say? A dreamy place. We were so in love that we stayed both nights there. Shady area, big braai place, bucket shower and a (different) donkey system for hot water. Modern toilet system that is not for everybody. Wide open spaces in front of you and a small hill in your bag. The only thing you hear are the birds. We payed 180 NAD pppn. If you love to be lonely in a spectacular surrounding, this is campsite is yours.

N$540 for 2 adults and 2 kids. We were in the top campsite and it’s an incredible place. The roof terrace is a great place to hang out, there is a fire pit and clean ablutions. Easy scramble up to the top of the koppie for even better views. Drinkable water.

Boonfamilyjourney | We paid 500 for 2 adults and 3 children (age 3, 6 and 2) Great place in good condition. We were the only ones and stayed at campsite B. They created enough shadow and with the mountains and trees around it does cool off after sunset and before sunrise so nice and cocool nights. Total
