Beautiful place to stay, you can camp, use hammocks, dorms and private rooms for ver convenient prices. Kitchen is available. Nice spot to stay on this side of the island. Support local families than foreigners/touristic hostels!

this is not a formal campsite!
it is a family hospedaje.
small area to park, 2-3 small cars will fit.
access is not easy for truck campers. not for medium - big rigs.
shower and bathroom are very basic. also used by family.
decent food. low price.
don't expect a hostal. it's a family's back yard.
they're friendly and welcoming. we stayed one night and moved to playa el Peru which was 10 times better.

Friendly owners, decent bathroom/shower, hang out area with hammocks/tables, wifi wasn’t great so ended up using data but prob that way most places. Filled up the water. Slept well & quiet :)

Stayed here for four nights while exploring the island with a rented motorcycle. Property of a very nice local family. Hammocks around, very basic bathroom, some shade and water fill up available. Walking distance from the main street with tons of restaurants and a natural pool up the hill. The only negative would be that there are quite a few ants around which I am sure you'll also find at other locations on the island.

We just asked the lady how much it would be to camp in a Van on her property for two people.
After thinking about the price for quite a bit time, she ended up saying 6 US$.
We didn't even want to negotiate to the 5 US$ she normally takes and went.

Came after daylight. Small street was very bad (big rocks) didn't manage to get into the place with our big truck camper (24ft). No chance because of the narrow street and the small entrance. Inside is plenty of space. Had to drive backwards back the alley at night - horrible.

This place is a small finca runs by a family. They are nice and have space for campers, toilet and modest shower and average wifi.
They stilk recovering from the hard time in Nica and the.thw pandemic so we are the first ones after a while. You can wash your laundy by hand on the lavadero.
5dls a night. Super quite and safe. Some dogs around but all of them friendly. The way here bit hard for small cars like ours (stationwagen) but we made it super easy. There are 5 hammocks to use and space for tents also.

great little overland spot, close to the town area for drinks and food if you want.

camping area is big and mostly flat, common area is nice with tables and hammocks, bathrooms are okay. paid 160 cord for a truck and 2 adults

For 3 of us it was $10US total (2 camping for $5 per vehicle and 1 dorm bed for $5). Really really nice space to camp with clean toilets and a shower. The family are lovely and we were greeted with fresh juice! Quiet, clean and a nice
place to relax in the evening. She offers breakfast for $3 too.

Better place that seems at pics, we add new ones. 150 cordobas (5$) for 2 people with basic but clean bathrooms, decent wifi and very tasty food, it was a restaurant before a camp. Nice nica family and a really good base camp for your days at the island. Totally recomended

Supper nice family! We slept here one night before going to the volcano. We left our truck camper here during the hiking and everything was perfect when we came back during the afternoon. $3 dollars pp/night.

Paid $200Cordobas for two persons in a big rig. Nice owner. Good food and smoothies. Shower and toilets clean and functional albeit rough. Interesting location in the center of a busy little neighborhood. Some shade. Slight breeze. Fast WiFi.

Still 3$ pp to camp, we did laundry in their sink. Shower is basic , clean place. Good base for hiking the volcano maderas and see petroglyphs an not pay parking at finca Magdalena.

Place for 5-6 rigs, wifi, outdoor shower, toilet. 5$ a night total! Great place, friendly people!

super little hostel near the beach. Very calm and nice. Baños super clean. You can camp for 3$ (per car) on a grassy parking lot from of the hostel. Otherwise dorm at 7$ with private bathroom. The owner is nice, recommended.

Decent sized flat grass field advertising camping. Basic toilet and shower. Only a short distance from the main road and avoids the bumper section of the road until to the Finca.

We stopped to ask but there wasn't anyone there but may come back later.
