Peru
This location is only accessible in dry season, the river is much to deep even fro large 4x4 rigs in wet season.
This is the point of the tricky river crossing. We parked here and continued on foot. It's only a 5km return hike. Very pretty and the geyser is very active!
The river crossing could be ok for offroad vehicles.
Could be a good camp spot too. The road to here is gravel but in good condition.

there is now a bridge which should be suitable for all kind of rigs. the road after the bridge is quite steep and loose gravel with high altitude, which made it a bit tricky for us (there was no space for our 5.60m Sprinter to turn around)
Report Check-InRiver crossing. Impassable at the moment, even for high clearance 4x4 this would be a proper challenge.
Report Check-InNo problem in dry season, the are is worth the road
Report Check-InIn dry season the river is barely existent. We went across it without any issue on our DR650's and a friend in a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Definitely worth the trip to the geyser. Beautiful area.
Report Check-In4runner with 4x4. Got to the crossing but the river is in full spate and we decided not to cross.
Report Check-Inthis geyser is great and very active! we could cross the river easily all the way up to the geyser (okt 2017).dird road in good condition. there was no one there and you can just stand next to the geyser and feel the heat! really cool.
