Latest Check-Ins

Yes, its a beautiful place, but it is extremely touristic. You feel like in a tourist assembly line work and more or less it is exactly that. You are not allowed to enter the area, before it's your group's turn. Therefore everybody has to wait in the restaurant area.
Afterwards they bring you to the beautiful jungle area by a 5 min tractor ride. Even that tractor ride is scheduled, so the tractor is already collecting the next group, while you're on the tour. The new group returns with the tractor just in time to bring your group back to the restaurant area.
Nevertheless it's a really nice place, but it is a big money making business, nothing more. Also that mentioned Luciano guy wants exactly the same price like all the others.
The whole area including the supermarket prices in Bom Jardim, just everything is high priced and they try to charge you for everything they can. Don't get me wrong - it is very beautiful, but don't expect to be treated as something more than "a living purse". Price that time was 130R for the snorkel trip. Also 130R at Luciano's place.

It is not an official campground, but the parking of the Aquario Encantado. The owner let us camp there for free.

Report Check-In

We looked for the campsite but didn't find it. I don't think that here is a official campsite, also not close to this tag. But the owner allowed us to camp there for free and we could use the super clean toilets/ showers and the WIFI from the aquarium nearby. Top ☺️ The next day we did the tour in the aquarium. 130 RS pp for 1,5 hours. Great experience, totally worth it. An amazing place.

super uncomfortable. I felt that they want to take advantage of every penny in your pocket. We do not accept such costs as travelers and this happened in all the tourist spots in the area. They did not even stop to meet to take a photo and go out. We do not advise for travelers to know bom jardim. They charged 25pp real to spend the night offering only electricity, bathroom and wifi (I don't know if it would be slow or fast, but it seemed to only work well next to the modem).
here its a "Aquário encantado" 65 pp to get to know the place without entering the water (they take you 40 minutes and they take you out for the next group to come). 80 pp to snorkel (it also takes a few minutes ... 40 I think they were). Sorry I used the tradutor

Really for the same water I recomended Luciano from "Flutuação vale das águas" he os Very predisposted to show the place, and he wants to Help you tô maik Amy offer you can pay... he starts taking that It Will cost 80pp but when se explain that we are travellers, he ofered maid the experience on weekend, Go to the place wait for more turist and do it everybody togueter... in that case 50pp or Less. you have to talk with him

We camped here for free after we first checked the Refugio next door. We did the tour during the day but the never asked for money for the night. We could use the showers and toilets all night and it was quiet at night. A lot of parrots passing over at sunset.

Report Check-In

Itˋs a really nice and quiet place. The snorkeling in the river is amazing. It costs 90 Reais now. We had to pay 50 Reais for the night for two persons, but after the tour and good lunch for 35 Reais p.p. the second night was free.

Report Check-In

Price for snorkel/swim is now 90pp but when we asked to camp, they said sure and did not ask for more.
For the tour they take you for a ride in a tractor, takes about five minutes then a short walk to the 6m deep pool where you spend 25 minutes floating among the fish, then you walk less than 200m to enter the river. There you float downstream 800m with some fish - very relaxing - lasts about another 25 minutes. After you walk back to start, get back on the tractor and return. There is an outdoor shower and some in bathroom.
This was NOT a quiet place to sleep for us. There was dogs from 9pm to 1 am when the rooster starts. No Vivo cell reception.

Report Check-In

One of the nicest campsites we stayed in Brazi. Very clean bathroom, beatiful grassy place to stay, some trees, friendly hosts, could connect to the outlet in a room. All just perfect.
Paid B$ 25.- pp/n
Did also the snorkeling tour in the river nearby, ask at the reception. Paid B$ 75.- pp.

Report Check-In

We payed 20 R pp but everything else still as described. Lovely and helpful people there and quiet during the night. We stayed two nights.

Report Check-In

All still as described. You can camp without tour. No drinking water. No kitchen. Power possible. Nice walk to commercial sunset lookout with pool (25 reis for pool). Good place for any type of overlander vehicle. Tour and stay well worth the detour. We thought the area like Benito but much more relaxed and non commercialised.

Report Check-In

It's still 75R for snorkeling in the aquarium and floating in the clear river. Nice tour, friendly guides and well-maintained recreation area with clean showers and toilets. We also camped in the parking lot for free, toilets are open during the night.

Report Check-In

We arrived late at this site as we wanted to do the snorkelling tour in the crystal clear river to see the fish the following morning. We asked if we could stay and they said there was no problem us parking in the pleasant parking lot on their farm. Quiet and some facilities. Fantastic toilets and showers. Free camping but need to book the tour which was 75 reals each, children free.
