Latest Check-Ins

Spent a good night at this rural family camping. There was a holiday weekend so camping lots 1 and 2 were closed for some brotherhood. One was open and had some space so we went for it. Light, barbecue, tables with benches, bathrooms and shadow. There are showers but we didn’t try them so don’t know if the water is hot. We didn’t find where to register and pay. Many families come for the day and some stay the night. Some music but everything went quiet at 23h.

Muchas parrillas, luz disponible y agua fría. Las instalaciones viejas pero bien cuidadas. 300$ por casilla, 150 el vehículo y 100 por persona (mayor de 14). Vienen a cobrar al mediodía. Muy tranquilo.

Nice and quiet (at least on a Tuesday in the beginning of April). About a million fire pits for parilla. And fortunately, you can camp at this campsite ;-) (see photo). Facilities are old but were clean when we were there. No hot water. 100 pesos per person, 300 pesos for a car / campervan. We tried to pay, but didn't find anybody. The neighbors told us that someone would come by, but nobody came...

Dirty toilets, hot water in bathrooms only if you buy wood in the shop at main street and take by yourself a fire.

Municipal campground next to el monumento al Gral San Martin. Plenty of trees for shade, outlets at parking sites. Families gather here on weekends and across the street are artesanía and food stands. No WiFi, but good Claro cell service (LTE).

$90 for two people and a car.

Running water in toilets but no toilet seats. There is hot water during busy periods only. If you’re here off-peak times, you trade quiet for hot water. For us, it was...brisk.

No cats.

Nice, well maintained campground very close to a small grocery store, and some restaurants. Bathrooms are clean and functional. Water and 220V power at most sites. Friendly staff. We visited during the week so it was super quiet. Paid 90 pesos for 2 people and our camper truck.
