Something not right?

Description

Ask nicely if you can camp next to the Information center and they'll be happy to accommodate you on the tiled lot. They, leave a restroom door open for you during the night. Might need to level out a little bit. Julie was the park ranger when we were there she live right behind the parks office. Super nice. Free.

Super friendly guard. Let us stay there, and after his shift, he walked with us on the closed trail down to the viewpoint of the collapsed waterfall and had a beer with us.

Still very nice place to spend a night. We asked a guard if we can stay a night and he was very kind. Not perfectly leveled, but fine. Very quite night.

Report Check-In

After the nice-short stroll to the waterfalls, we asked if we could stay for the night. They said it’s not officially permitted but they let us stay, and we left the next morning. The reventador volcan was a nice view!

Por segunda vez, pasamos una noche allí. Guardias amables! Baños abiertos las 24 hs. Hermoso y tranquilo lugar para descansar.

Report Check-In

It’s possible to stay here overnight. We arrived in the afternoon and they asked directly if we want to stay for the night. But it was to early, so we went on to Casacada Rio Malo which we liked more.

Report Check-In

We arrived about 5pm and were allowed to stay overnight. The ranger has some rules for us, everything fine! After some chat you know that he just loves the nature. Waterfall and trail are really nice, we meet 4 monkeys.

Report Check-In

Arrived around 5pm and asked if there was anywhere to camp. Caesar immediately volunteered a small patch of road, and left bathrooms open. Not a great site for a ground tent, but waterfall was impressive, big, and free.

It must depend on the particular guard if they'll let you spend the night. We arrived during daylight and the rangers at the National Park weren't keen to let us stay on the tiled drive so we moved a 100 meters up the road to the bus turn-around area. (pickup truck with camper)

Impressive Waterfall, worth the stop, and if it happens to be evening stay. A couple of degrees slanted at the booth, or more further down. Bath room no showers during opening ours, but guard let me use his. Very quiet at night.
