Namibia
The only way to stay here is to pay for a bungalow/chalet with dinner, bed and breakfast. Pretty remote outpost which is just a collection of fishing huts. Facilities clean but are tired and need an uplift. Expensive but has food included
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
All as described - good value considering remote location. 2 meals included. I paid N$1700.
Report Check-InNice location at the end of the world. Friendly staff and nice surroundings.
Report Check-InGreat Rooms on the ocean. WiFi, you can hire fishing equipment cheaply; beautiful scenic area.
Report Check-Indesolate and beautiful! extreme weather with great fishing. staff are all lovely. facilities are good but in need of maintenance. electricity goes off daily between 14h30- 17h00 for generators / batteries to cool off and charge for the night which is normal for most far flung camps and lodges in Namibia.
Report Check-InDec 2021: Still very much the same with lots of „being at the end of the world“-feeling and quite an atmospheric bar/restaurant with friendly staff
We were charged N$780 pp (which apparently was the rate for locals) for DBB … and dinner was quite good
Free wifi available, although slow.
No regrets having come here and stayed for the night.
