nice, new, feels like a lounge bar. massive common area. small kitchen with barely any tools. couldn t find a cup to have some tea. they do have a bar and throw amazing parrilladas that are probably worth not cooking anyway. good wifi and a short stroll into town. still, not in the middle of the it. this place has floor heating. yes, you heard me. you can walk barefoot and still be warm.
parking outside but not private. 190p per night for a 4beds with ensuite, if you are foreigner. if you are argentinian you pay 20% taxes more on it. just check with booking.com for the right price anyway and most likely they will match it.

Super nice hostel, with a great view in the living room which super comfy and bright. The breakfast is included in the price and its really nice
Report Check-Inprices are incredibly high.... is this the wrong period ? 30 US$ for one bed in dormitory.... but seems to be very confortable...
Report Check-InThis place is AWESOME! Super helpful and kind staff, clean comfy and warm. We slept outside in our van, we had to level using some firewood. They'll let you shower for free, but there's a tip jar there, so make sure they keep liking overlanders (tip them). Another option is for $6us (120 ar) per person you can have internet, kitchen use, indoor hangout, and breakfast... it's totally worth it. Didn't ask about plugging in, but we did get 40 liters of sweet sweet water! They do nightly asados, that are delicious!! Patagonian lamb was $300ar per person, comes with salad and vino.
Report Check-InOne of the best hostel I've been! The hostels and rooms and very clean, with bathroom and shower in the rooms. The staff is very friendly, wifi is good, kitchen clean and has everything you need. They make a bbq each night and we ask to put our steak on it. They also offer a lot of tours around El Calafate/Perito Moreno. We paid 450pppn but we were still in high season.
Report Check-InAmazingly friendly people at the reception - allowed us to take a hot shower and use their wifi. Not sure if they would allow to shower again...but ask nicely and offer to pay something...cannot see why not! Really nice people!!
