Report Check-In

We stayed one night, very quite. So we wanted to stay a second one. Then a car came and an old guy said that this is private land so we should leave...

Report Check-In

We arrived as it was already dark. The way up here was no problem to handle with our Campervan without 4*4. We had a quiet and safe night. A few bikers came down behind our van, very friendly everybody who crossed. We felt safe and can definitely recommend this place. No facilities here.

Report Check-In

Updated location June 2019. Made it just fine with a 2 Wheel Dr. high roof van. There’s one flat spot just next to the shelter and so far it’s quiet!

Report Check-In

Impossible for us to get here with a Van conversion Ford Econoline. Too many rocks and wholes.

Report Check-In

This one was kind of tricky to find. The correct location is: N 19 3.741, W 98 20.142 It is an recreational area for hiking, biking and camping. The only level spot to park is in the shelter (we didn't drive around too much), toilets were flushing in the past (?), now without water. You can still hear the noise from the city (dogs, churches, fireworks...) otherwise it is calm place and we had a good night. Entrance is free.

Report Check-In

You have to keep going on your left for about 600 meters. 4x4 recommended.
no usable toilets. one shelter. noises from the city and barking dogs.

Report Check-In

We couldn't find it. Maybe somebody else has more luck?

Report Check-In

Bottom of the local bike park. Free camp spot. No running water. Pit toilets. Shelter area. Nobody else here, just some hikers and cyclists passing by. Great view of Cholula and the volcano from the top of the trails. 3G cell service. The last 40 feet up to the camp area has some loose rock, shouldn't need 4x4, but some clearance is good.
