Latest Check-Ins

Camping is open again. Paid $60 to enter, and another $100 to camp. As I’m on a bicycle, they let me camp down in the park, halfway down to the falls. This turned out to be pretty magical as at 5:30pm, everyone and all the staff went home, locked me in, which meant I had the falls to myself! (And could swim without a life jacket)

Report Check-In

Drove to the entrance only to find the road blocked with a ‘closed due to covid’ sign. The state is currently orange level.

Update: the waterfalls are reopened but the camping is closed during covid.

The waterfalls are incredible, breathtaking. We decided to park right in front of the entrance where there is a big parking lot with bathrooms and showers. Bathrooms were 5pp showers 15pp. The overnight parking was 30 pesos and we decided to stay because there were a lot of workers around. Around 7 pm everybody left and we were the only ones there. No other car around, no employees. Even though the owner or guy in charge said that a few employees stayed. About 9 pm two very shady guys opened the gate and came in, we are not sure if the stayed the night but they approached us and stayed nearby. We totally recommend staying in this area but with more people around. There is another parking lot down the road called "Alvaro" which had many cars and a few camping spots around. The place is beautiful, we just felt a little unsafe at this particular parking lot.
