Description

Little farm on the canal - 4000 pesos per person, hot shower and baños. Very nice little place. Calm but quiet next to Ruta 40 when entering San Juan from the north. little Dirt road along the canal (only 200 meters). In the garden, a high wooden watch tower will help to find it. The access road is narrow, though large rigs are ok.

The farm is a quiet place during the week, it offers amenities such as energy and water, there are not many connections. has a pool. The price now is 9,000 for two people and the camper. It's fine for a couple of days.

The place was packed on a Sunday, but everyone left by the closing time 8:30pm. Nice place to camp and really friendly owners. cleanest toilets I've seen on a campsite for a long time.

Animals+pool= great place for kids. Nice educational farm, little playground.
limited shade, no shade for big rigs, no shade in the pool.
4000ARS for adults, 2000 for kids, motorhome free. Only CASH!
Would stay here again.

Really nice organic farm, lots of animals, would be great for kids. Pool. Wifi best in a long time. 7000 per night for two in a roof top tent. Definitely recommend if that's in your price range.

Great place to stay in and rest on the way coming or going to Mendoza. Very friendly staff. Power, Wi-Fi , water to fill the tank of the RV , big rig by the way. There are bathroons which we don't need and haven't used. 6.000 pesos for the equipment no matter how many people. Really worthy

Report Check-In

prices are now 3500 per person , we did not stayed way over priced

Nice little farm next to San Juan. The correct name is Granja Tia Nora. You can park next to a little building under trees. Just in front you have running water and electricity. Wifi closer to the main building. The pool was very clean when we visited. Clean bathroom and wood heated hot shower. They have an organic garden where you can cut veggies. In our opinion the animals are treated very well. 2500 per vehicle. Might sound really expensive but with the inflation prices have raised all over argentina. They also gave us 6 eggs for free. We would recommend this place although it is not cheap.

We paid 800 for 2 persons with camper!!! For this price we expected more: This place is rather a public outdoor pool than a camping place. The pool was overfilled with locals, dirty water with brown and very greasy pool borders. There is only 1 shower with cold water and 2 stinky toilets for more than 50 visitors.
Your camping spot will be the parking spot. At least, there is shadow. Three friendly dogs guard this place and bark during the Night. The little kiosk is nice and comfortable if you like junk food. If you love animals: do not visit the „farm“ - It hurts.

Very nice place with pool and organic eggs and produce available. Big rig friendly, water and electricity available depending on where you park. Very friendly family. Price is now 800 pesos for two and the camper. Showers were not hot. Being organic there are no pesticides, so there are mosquitoes. 2.5km to the fantastic Bodega El Milagro.

We stayed at Graja Tia Nora for a long time, and got to know the place fairly well. Make sure to agree your price when you arrive, and consider that for longer stays there may be a discount. Pedro and family are very accommodating and the dogs are chilled, they recently have a puppy for entertainment too.

The farm is nice with some fresh organic produce available (usually rocket, beetroot, radish, lettuce, herbs, fennel, cabbage and sometimes carrot and kale) to purchase, including fresh eggs for poaching. The pool was open towards the end of our stay at the beginning of November. The farm has chickens, pigs, geese, donkey, llama, peacocks, rabbits, turkey, ducks. On the weekend children can sometimes take donkey rides.

For us the highlight was meeting Juan and Karo, eating at their restaurant on site over the weekends, which is very reasonable for homemade produce often using the farms ingredients, and hearing Juan’s love for Asados and seemingly endless knowledge about the local wines.

On the weekends there may be events or day visitors for asado etc, and in the week there may be some school visits - for us this has always been a generally quiet and interesting experience and often an opportunity to speak with locals.

There is power and full shade available, with sinks, and with separation for recycling and organic waste (ask Pedro and he’ll allow you to feed the pigs with it)

San Juan is very safe and we’d recommend a trip to Magarita on a Monday for 2for1 thin crust wood fired oven pizzas and any other time Antares is great for a drink and some well priced food. The Central Park and Biccentenario theatre are worth a visit too.

Overall tia Nora is worth a visit and is the best campsite on offer in San Juan. slightly informal accommodation in the Argentinian style.

YPF and Central town plaza are free to camp, but none are quiet.

Nice organic farm where you can camp for 600 AR (2 persons and a van). You have access to a hot shower, clean toilets, a heated comunal space to have breakfast/lunch/dinner and the bbq grill. There are many animals and in the morning we got fresh veggies from the kitchen garden (for a very cheap price) and fresh eggs.
It's very quiet even though you're close to the city center.
We stayed there one night with our cat and we'd have stayed longer.

The place is called Granja Tia Nora. As others said, very friendly and pleasant. Price for camper and two people was 500 per night, no discount. (YPG nearby is free, but it is a gas station/truck stop; as you prefer...).
Place is rustic/rural, but Bathroom and shower clean with seat and paper; shower is wood heated, but they’ll fire it up whenever you want.
Access road is ample for the biggest rigs, and there is lots of parking along the edge. Only smaller vehicles will fit inside on the grass; we needed two people holding up the branches of the weeping willow to pass our 3m high camper underneath without too much scraping.

200 ARS per person for tent. Nice and clean farm. Clean bathrooms. Very hospitable family. They gave us vegetables and fruits from their farm.

Hordes of flies, cold showers, cloudy grungy swimming pool, 500 pesos for the 2 of us and our Westy.

Lovely little farm. $500 for truck camper, two adults, a 5 year old. Electric, wifi, hot/warm showers, clean bathrooms. Green grass, shady willow trees, duck pond, lots of rabbits, some sheep, cows, ducks, peacocks, etc. wifi was good. Was leaving as busload of school kids were arriving to camp overnight! Good timing :) And yes, pool still empty :(

I forgot to precise: there is a playground fir kids and a swimmingpool. They have ckicken, porcs and other animals, in fact it is a didact eco farm for children also. There is enough place for big rigs in the camping but you have to check if you pass on the small road which goes along the channel from the big cross road. (40)

Little farm on the canal - 100 pesos per pers hot shower and baños. Very nice little place. Calme but quit next to ruta 40 when entering San Juan from the north. Dirt road along the canal. In the garden a high wooden watch tower will help to find it. The access road is narrow that's why very large rigs might not get through!
