Mexico
Just after the entrance in the park of Palenque, on the left side. Camping for tents and maybe 3 or 4 places for vans. Not more than one big rig could fit. ( a couple big could fit)
New managers are improving the place. Nice garden. Clean bathroom. Close to the road but very quiet. Heard a lot of birds and hawling monkeys. Cool ambiance. 40p pp. No wifi.
A restaurant on site is under renovation. Also cabañas for rent but I do not know the price.

Just a cheap spot to park. The showers were not working when we there but they kindly offered a bucket for bathing. People working there were nice. Watch out for the biting ants.
We went a block further up the street the next day to Michol's for the same price, a slightly nicer vehicle site, working shower and free wifi.
Report Check-Inbasic as described but just what we were looking for at 40p per person to pitch our tent. restaurant good and also cheap. staff friendly.
Report Check-InVery nice place to stay a few nights. 20-30min walking to the pyramids. Bathrooms are ok but not very clean...40p per person... absolutely worth it.
Report Check-Innice spot on a small Creek. paid $40 pp for our van a bit shaby but has a good vibe. English speaking manager was very nice.
Report Check-InGrassy almost flat spot. Cold showers (luckily) and clean basic bathrooms. 40 MX pp per night. You can leave the car here while you visit the ruins. 2 km walking. We will stay 2 nights. Nice staff. One volunteer offered to take care of our dog while we go to the ruins.
