Latest Check-Ins

There is NO WiFi for the Camparea. We were "generously" given the password for the Cabanas, but it would not reach to to our space. Bathrooms are clean, but the water was only lukewarm. for 15000 pesos per person no good value for money. Being the only site close by, they can still ask for it....

Report Check-In

The pool is for cabanas rental only. Therefore another point down for what they state and what ist reality. They should distinguish this in the description.

Report Check-In

Expensive 15.000pp and the lady wouldn’t budge which is expensive, however the beach across the road makes it worthwhile. A dusty pitch, plenty of room for big rigs and plenty of spaces for many many people, table and chair as well as some storage facility to spread your things out. Private bathrooms come with it, a stunning beach across the road with mini markets and shops a short walk away. To head to the Mall you would need to drive. Very quiet. A beautiful neighbourhood.

Report Check-In

15,000 per person to camp with private bathroom.

Report Check-In

low season 2023 price is 15'000 pesos per person. as others have said really, get a spacious dusty pitch and your own bathroom like you'd have in a hotel room. Good hot shower. Great location one block from the sea and the long promenade here. Sunday night in low season, I was the only person camping.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Still 30.000clp. In March while nobody was there they charge the price for the main season, which is too much in my opinion.

Report Check-In

The price is now for one night, 2 persons and a campervan 30k

Report Check-In

Nice camping. Just 100m away from the beach. Every spot on this camping has his own bathroom, bbq and table. And there is a room for washing clothes and dishes. Nice concept. 10k pppn (normal chilean price). Wifi was pretty good and toilet super clean with hot water.

Report Check-In

Good company is more cheap then the rest Al here are very expensive

Report Check-In

Very nice place!! 😀👍 safety and economic!!
Sra. Rosita al Fono ☎️ +56512313531.

Very nice place. As said you have you own space and get your own private bathroom with key, very clean. All places have bbq, electricity and light.
we paid 10.000 per person. We came with a mini camper.

Report Check-In

25'000 clp für 2 Personen. Eigenes Badezimmer. Platz ist nur aus Sand und für die Heringe des Zeltes zu fest. Würden diesen Preis nicht wieder zahlen...

Report Check-In

Prices have increased to 12,500 per person, maybe because of high season. Our Land Rover Defender didn’t fit under the intended camp spaces but we were allowed to park a bit before the camp space so our rooftent could be folded out. Dogs allowed. Noise from the road is within acceptable limits.

Report Check-In

Our pop up camper was too tall to fit under the canopy, were able to camp in the dirt lot at the end. There is a bit of construction going on right now so it was really a dirty lot. We still got to use our camping bay.
However I never had a privat bathroom while camping anywhere in the world, enjoyed this quite a bit and the lovely hot shower. Very clean bathrooms.Paid 8000 pp.

Report Check-In

Really great place! 8,000pp (low season). You get your own section that includes picnic table, grill, light, electricity, potable water, and a key to your own bathroom, super clean and hot shower, no tp. Separate area with sinks to wash dishes and clothes by hand. There’s a pool, but it’s only for people in the cabins. WiFi was fast! Near beach and restaurants, but far from center. Might be too tight for big rigs.

Report Check-In

Sehr gute Möglichkeit, hier ist ein guter sichrerer Campingplatz/Übernachtungsplatz! Eigene WC und Dusche (heiß)

Report Check-In

Very nice and friendly campground. Til now one of the best in Cono Sur. Individual bath room with perfect hot water shower. Electricity, fast WIFI, grill,..and all that for only clp 8000 for one people with RV, all included. Perfect!

Report Check-In

Price was pretty high 27k for a campervan, two adults and one kid - but we were here in the highest season - total eclipse 2019. I have no idea what are the prices in regular season.

Separate showers per parking place, very warm water - and doesn't run out. Grill, shelves, sun shade, close to the beach, very safe.

Report Check-In

Very well set out and clean campsite. You get a private bathroom (hot shower, toilet and sink). Great walks along the beach front just outside. (If you don't enter from the beachside you're coming in the back entrance and should follow the dirt road - which looks like a driveway - right round until you can see the beach and then you will also see the covered campsites on your left.) It's off-season, we stayed 2 nights - 2 people in a van - 16,000 Clp the first night, 14,000 the second night.

Report Check-In

Really nice, but expensive camping. in high season it costs 25000Pesos per night. you get a booth with grill, table etc and you own private bathroom.
bathrooms are stunning and incredibly clean. beach is just across the street. you can pay with credit card

Report Check-In

25000 a night until 3 persons and a tent... really, i left of course

Report Check-In

Forgot to mention. Pool is only for Cabañas users.

Report Check-In

Possible to share one palapa between 2 camper vans. One was fitting under. The other higher one staid just next. Paid one site, 25K pesos + 8K for a fourth person. One site includes cost for 3 people.

Report Check-In

This camping is very great when you travel with a van and you need a good shower !
It's a bit pricey but it actually worth it.

Report Check-In

They seemed slightly concerned when we told them we had a dog, but when we said that we pick up after her and that we would control her, they we're fine with it. We enjoyed it. Nice beach across the street.

Report Check-In

Lovely, just across the road from the beach, nice and friendly people! Clean.

Report Check-In

Wow what an organized campground! A little pricey but you get good services and you are close to the beach. Our rig is 2.9 m tall and could fit under the palapa. if you don't fit, you there a couple of spots where you can fit outside and still get use of a palapa. Cool to have your own bathroom (they are not at each site but in a separate building near the sinks). 4G Enter signal too but wifi was good. There is some road noise at night as you are in between Ruta 5 and the waterfront road. You can catch the #1 bus on the Ruta 5 to go into La Serena or Coquimba.

Report Check-In

We paid 25‘000 CLP for a site (including 3 people) - firepit, table and benches, electricity and each site has an own room with toilet and shower (hot). Camper higher than 3 metres don’t enter. Wifi is ok. Unfortunately the pool is only for the „cabañas guests“. A good place for visiting Coquimbo and La Serena.

Report Check-In

The best camping in La Serena- Tongoy area. Water, electricity and your own bathroom with a key! Just across the street from the ocean. Lots of nice places to eat close by. Good place to do dishes and laundry!

Report Check-In

Nice place! Good own bathroom. 8000 pesos for a person, close to the beach!

Report Check-In

Still 8000 pp.

We were concerned about height restrictions with the covered Palapa-style camping bays, but we have a pop-up truck camper and it fit. The camper, before pop-up, needs a 3 meter clearance. Made it in easily. After pop-up, our exhaust fan housing is just touching netting in bay so a 3.67 meter clearance. A bigger rig who wouldn't have fit was allowed to park in the alleyway at the far end of camping bays. Might not be allowed to do so in high season. But if you're under 3.5meters height no problem.
Individualized locked clean and updated bathrooms turned out to be so nice. Could leave TP, soaps and shampoos in it.
Taxi to La Serena historic center was 7,000p.
Walking distance to beach and numerous restaurants.
Quiet at night even on a Saturday.

Report Check-In

The maximum height of the camping bays is NOT 3 meters. We have a pop up truck camper that is 3 meters when the roof is down. We were able to raise our roof fully though we did stretch the roof of the bay slightly.

Report Check-In

very nice camping with power sun shade grill picnic table. only place I've ever been with a private bathroom. walking distance to many restaurants short drive to other amenities.

Report Check-In

good site for a camping in town. just in front of the beach (but need to cross the costanera road). clean, hot water, shelter, WiFi available. we paid 16000 per night for two adults plus 4000 for one kid above 4 years old. the camping is at 8 km from the old lighthouse and plaza de armas. site may be too small if you come with a big tent and big car. for camper maximum height is 3m.

Report Check-In

Great base to visit La Serena and Coquimbo. Hot showers and potable water to fill the tanks for FREE !!! Great place for BBQ as well.

We were alone on the camping.

8,000 pp and per night is a correct price for the low-season but 25,000 pp is definitelly too high for a camping.

Report Check-In

Very good wifi, individual bathroom with incredibly good hot shower, our 2,5m height car fit ok with some space, probably good for a 3m. 8.000pesos pp low season but 25.000 on summer 😱

Report Check-In

One of the best place with cabanas, and a camping area for tents, and space only for campervans and motorhomes not higher then 3,00 meters (see photos). Every spot is "fenced" and has a shadeclose as a roof, also water, bbq and power. Every Camper get's his "own privat" clean sanitary room with HOT shower. Wifi is very good, and there is a clean pool. O.k. we paid 8000 pes. p/p per day, but it was worth it.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite right by the beach. Has a pool. Very regimented bay camping but each pitch has own bathroom, bench, light and BBQ. 8mil peso per night per person
