Good campground, private bush settings $35 per night. No wifi, need quarters for warm shower.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
keep in mind this place has seasonal closures - closed in winter! we got there and the gate was closed, were left with no other options but to drive for another hour lol. santa cruz does not have many camp options except $80+ ugly rv resorts in winter so plan accordingly!
Report Check-InCampsite was great!! Came in super late and missed the kiosk booth so accidentally didn’t pay but no rangers bothered me. Did the look out deck hike the next morning which was an easy 2 miles
Report Check-InAnother campground in the typical style of the Park Service. A range of styles are offered: for RVs, tent only and a mix (for those who sleep in or on their vehicle), most pretty spacious. They're not all level and we had to try a few times on our site (30). Came in without reservations, and even though the "camp full" sign was posted. Paid USD 35 for one night.
The nightly sea fog made everything very damp, almost like it rained, which was nice after months of Mexican drought.
Report Check-InGreat camp site. On a weekday I walked in on a site for $35. Clean facilities and showers are 25 cents a minute. I have lte with att
Report Check-InAs described, very nice spot in an area where commercial campgrounds are much more expensive. Just 7 kms from downtown Santa Cruz. Still $35
Report Check-InCampground with 113 sites, restrooms have electricity. The sites are very huge and there can stay up to 8 people, there is space for at least 4/5 2 Person tents, we (traveling and sleeping in a Dodge Grand Caravan) arrived on a Tuesday at 5 pm and could choose from 2 sites, for campervans this might not be the best place (for 35$ per night), you just can park in front of the Site, so you basically park your car on the little way that goes through the campground. There were a few other sites which offered a way in it even with a car but they were occupied. It was okay, bc of the showers, but we wouldn’t stay here again. For tents it’s a very nice a big place though.
Report Check-InGreat state park. $35 per night. There are bathrooms and a coin operated hot shower.
Report Check-In$35 a night. some of the spots are fairly private. I didn't take a shower because they were pretty gross.
