do not stay here...

Great location and area to stay in with beautiful sunsets! Unfortunately we regretted staying here because of how unfriendly the American owner Rick was and how much they charged us. 30USD just to park our camper and sleep in it on site for one night..... We had breakfast which was also very average and overpriced... Seemed like they were just trying to scam us for money!! You are better off camping further along the coast where there is plenty of great camping spots...... for free! Additionally, we asked him about fishing and he tried to rent us a very basic hand fishing line and hook for 15USD....crazy!!

Nice safe camping, the owners and staff were very friendly. I enjoyed my stay!

stayed one night. $15 per person. a little pricey, but Tomas was very nice and made a good margarita.

Report Check-In

Camped here in our van and had a couple drinks in the bar. Getting a draft beer out here was a nice treat, and Tomas was very friendly and welcoming. $30 ($15 per person) just to park is hard to stomach though. If we had it to do again, we'd come for a drink and camp down the road for free.

$15 USD per person to set up a tent on a patch of sand. “Security” was some broken twisted barb wire in front of the property. Pretty overpriced and kind of a weird vibe here. Works if you are in a pinch and stuck further north. Probably better off moving further south down the coast. Stayed 1 night and bounced. Didn’t try food or drink

I will add though expect to pay a lot for everything

I would just like to post that they are really doing a great job here with maintaining the COVID measures! Good job you guys!!!

We came in late, so didn't go further to the free spots at night. Camping is $10 per person and includes slightly warm showers (no way to adjust them) and outdoor toilets. Access to facilities inside is $5 extra (kitchen etc), which seems odd.

Hostel looked nice and tidy in the morning, but "greedy vibe" from comment below is spot on. You feel like a second class citizen as a camper, not being allowed inside the hostel if you don't pay extra. Pre-set temperature of the shower is barely 25°C / 70 °F, you don't freeze, but it's also not nice. Probably to save a tiny bit of propane or electricity to heat it...

Bar looked great, but price and showers killed the vibe, so didn't want to spent any more money.

Except for an other camper that left early, we were the only other guests.

Spent 3 nights. One of our party rented a bunk inhostel; we slept in cabin parking lot. Delicious Thai meals as well as other choices. Had laundry done. Safe. Clean. Hot showers. $10 camping. Add $5 if you want access to hostel. Bar. Rex room. Safe.

Cool place for a room, shower, meal and drinks. Tomas is the man.

Report Check-In

Great hostel and campsite right on the beach. Showers, kitchen, bar, rooms and more. Thomas is the coolest manager and catered to our every need. This was a great break from camping beach side for the last two weeks before and after the Baja 1000.

I visit again this place Tomas the manager he’s so cool guy, the owner wasn’t here so you can feel a different vibe so quiet the place, price still a kind of expensive (us dlls) for mexican tourism but the place worth the price everything clean and organized

When you visit ask for Tomas nice place

Report Check-In

Very Americanized. Quite expensive and everything is an extra charge (including water with any meal other than breakfast). Had a weird kind of greedy vibe, wasn't my favorite spot. Seems popular for moto riders on weekend trips.

It was the best campground/hostel we seen during one month in Mexico. We just wanted to stay one night but we stayed 3. Very kindly staff! They speak english, and are very helpful. Clean, quite. We sleep in our van all the nights and we can cook, play some games, just chill, take a shower in the house! There is a bar with delicious Margaritas! We feel like at home. Love this place, I recommend it!

as described. polished American hostel. pricey for Mexico but fair value. Safe secure spot. Stayed in hostel room cozy but adequate at $20 a night each.

after driving through the surrounding agricultural area, this place above the beach feels definitely good. parked the truck camper with ocean view. enjoyed the place and shockingly nice bathrooms

Report Check-In

$10 to camp. Camp sites were not marked so apparently I camped off the property. Owner was very rude and basically asked me to leave in the morning at around 9 am. Would not go back plenty of beautiful camp spots along the coast. Camped at Punta Cabras the next day and was much more satasfied.

Report Check-In

Nice campground the owner not so friendly beautiful view the drinks very expensive

Report Check-In

Parking on cliff, either in lot or other camping area. Hot showers. Clean bathrooms. 10 usd/person/night. ** NOTE, there is plenty of free camping nearer the water for boon docking, something we discovered on our way out... **
