Do not come during spring break, parked at 10pm and shortly after the parking lot was completely filled. Loud and packed till well after 2am. Free tho

It’s still here and still available but…it is not good for large rv’s or campers. The electric hookups all over the parking lot are dead. However, it is decently quiet and has a working water hookup.

Stayed a second time here driving back west. Noticed a small temp sign at the entry of the lot that said 'no parking after 330am'. Hoping it's not going to become an official permanent sign :(

a nice uneventful night. It is very well wet so for safety factor I guess that's good. but for sleeping factor, if you don't have blackouts, you're going to have a lot of light in your car.

Stayed one night here whilst visiting friends in town who dont have room for me in their drive way. i hope people stay respectful of this spot so overnights dont get banned. OS is a great place to have dinner and drink. Highly reccommend Lady May

I've stayed several times over the last month. no problems. also Davis Bayou National Park is close by and easy to get Reservations.

We had a very nice and quiet night of sleep here. After reading reviews, I researched Ocean Springs city ordinances to confirm they allow parking overnight but no more than 24 hours parked in one spot. So it’s a great spot for one night. Honestly, no one should be trying to park in these types of places for more than one night. It’s why they get closed down. Close to very cute downtown and only 5 minutes from Biloxi beach

Honestly could be a great camping spot. We were so excited to get here and we were so disappointed when we got kicked out. A city government official knocked on our door and informed us that it was illegal to park in a lot for more than 24 hours, and it was illegal to use the plugs. There are a few other vehicles that have been parked here for over 24hr but they’re much more stealth than us (17ft camper travel trailer). It seems completely legal to park here overnight, leave for the beach during the day and then return. Police turned off the electricity to the parking lot afterwards.

Just as others have posted. A municipal parking lot close to restaurants and places to have a drink. Really cute town that appears to be thriving. If you stay here, spend a few dollars in town to support the businesses!

Spent two peaceful nights here. And what a quaint town, everything is close. I walked through downtown to the beach then over to the pier where all the shrimp and charter boats are. Library is within walking distance and Planet Fitness and laundromat is within 2 miles. Loads of craft beer pubs, coffee shops nearby and a bbq joint right at the parking lot. No porta potties currently, but there are several along the beach plus large trash cans. Would most definitely stay again.

really cool town, glad I stopped here. cafes, pubs, art galleries, etc. Spent a night in the parking lot (the pin is now in the right place) and wasn't bothered.

Really great parking lot right downtown. The electrical was not turned on while I was here, but every few parking spaces has 20/30amp outlets! Pretty well lit and walking distance from food and shops. Train is pretty loud and went by a few times at night but otherwise very quiet.

Awesome spot in Ocean Springs. Got in around 5pm then walked 15 ish minutes to watch the sunset at the beach and walk around downtown. Library is about a 10 minute walk from this parking spot. No problems all night, parked my 24 ft RV near the back of the lot away from the street. Sadly the electrical was not on but still a great spot for the night.

parking lot is in a mixed residential and commercial area. there was a train that came through twice but it was okay and I never heard one after midnight. I don't know where the electrical hookups are that people mentioned. it felt safe and okay to stay in for a night. there is a couple of local restaurants and bars nearby that I would recommend going to. I would recommend checking out hops and growler and telling him Jonathan sent you.

Great place. Spent two nights. The second night was a Friday and did have a lot of loud traffic and people going into town to eat/drink but to be expected since it is a parking lot. Emptied out by 11:30. Also, the electric outlets were turned off while we were here. Please be respectful and discreet to keep the available as an option. It is a great spot!

This pin is in the wrong location and I have tried to correct it. If you follow this pin it will take you to a business park on the outskirts of town that has signs that explicitly say "no overnight parking." In case the coordinates don't get fixed you should google Fallo-Pleasant Municipal Parking for the actual lot all of these reviews describe. We spent two nights there and you couldn't ask for a better location to explore Ocean Springs.

Stayed here for 2 nights in our transit van. Arrived late both nights and left early. Really quiet at night, 1 train passed but not to loud. 30 amp electric plug worked!! Good little doughnut shop just about a block down the street. Other restaurants and shops, cute little town. National sea shores park less than 10 mins. from here.
Awesome they let you park! 2 porta pottys at the entrance. GPS took us to the side street, right off Government across from the cart rental store.

Great spot parked our 24 ft RV 2 days , close to restaurants and local shops.
Also plugged into the power supply . Used the google directions from the app site and it was not correct. Lot is on Government street, just google public parking lot near me when you get to the town and it gives you the vorr3ct directions

Great spot! As described, right in town, easy walk to restaurants, beach, and market. Electric plugs worked. No signs prohibiting overnight parking. Stayed 2 nights without any hassles or issues. Wish more cities would be like Ocean Springs!

Fairly large municipal parking lot. Stayed for one night in our 27' Class C. Yes, there is electricity and we plugged into a 30 amp box. Right in the heart of a very cool town. One nice feature is the tall wood fence that surrounds most of the lot.

Be sure to visit the nearby Walter Anderson museum.

Safe well lit rarely used quiet public parking lot. No signs regarding overnight parking. I stayed here for 5 nights no issues whatsoever. walking distance to shops, restaurants, and beach. Police patrol through on occasion no issues. The parking lot is set up for events so 30 and 20 amp all around the lot. Free wifi near by. Trains go by every so often but not obnoxious. Great spot!

This is a quiet free public lot easily walkable to Ocean Springs bars and restaurants. No signage regarding overnight parking.
