Une halte sympa entre Puebla et Palenque. On a pu dormir gratuitement sur le parking. On entend le bruit de l’autoroute mais c’est quand même bien plus agréable qu’un Pemex.
Repas à 6 au resto (quel bonheur de ne pas cuisiner après la longue route). 600 pesos pour 6 personnes avec les boissons. Et on s’est régalé.

this a great place to stop, far enough off the highway to be ok at night, Obviously some truck noise but not excessive . Good food, had rabbit which was wild, not farmed. 4 large beers & 2 plates of food less than $500.
Also there are showers available, free if you eat here.

We called Doña Martina, as we saw her phone number on the app, to ask her if we can spend the night at her place. She was extremely kind and happy to help. This warm-hearted woman lives and works by herself in her nice restaurant (closed at night) and is really happy to get some company. She has bathroom and 2 showers under construction. She was kind enough to wait for our arrival and parked us behind her house where no one can see you. .We were also welcomed by kind dogs, chickens and geese. Yes it is close from the highway but the traffic at night is not that bad and we felt really safe. We even stayed with her the day after where she cooked for us, showed us her beautiful garden and taught us lots of knowledge on plants, trees and fruits. She never asked for any money but we gave her a kind amount as we received so much from her.
Also if you feel like staying with her for a while she really needs help around as she takes care of everything by herself, of course this is not the glamorous place in the world but the love and wisdom you will receive in exchange is priceless ! One of these meeting you will never forget !

Doña Martina, excelente anfitriona, le llame para avisar que íbamos a llegar a su telecel ‭(274) 106 7595‬, nos recibió muy amable y con una gran sonrisa nos atendió y nos sirvió un buen desayuno .
Ave fénix es un restaurante paradero de carretera con suficiente espacio para cualquier vehículo y los servicios que puedas necesitar excepto drenaje. Tranquilo y seguro a pesar de estar a un lado de la carretera.
Nos hicieron sentir muy bien.
Seguro volveremos.

Very friendly and clean place. After we did not fit under the tree they even cut him a bit. So, enough shadow for the next ;-)

Llamamos y hablamos con la señora Martina y nos dijo que nos podiamos quedar sin problema aunque ella no estaba, el velador nos recibio no habla bien español, detras hay duchas y lavamanos los baños estan en el restaurante, desayunamos huevos frescos de sus gallinas. Hay enchufe eléctrico en el restaurante en el lado derecho. Buen lugar para parar en la noche. No hay portón pero la señora vive ahi y dice que es muy seguro.

We are received very friendly by Martina and her family and stood with our RV near by the restaurant. The family live there. We ate huevos con jamon and drank some Victorias. It was very good and clean. Yes, it is loud, because 100 meters from Mex 145D. We use earplugs and had a good and safe night.

Restaurant/rancho with Big parking lot along the highway from puebla to villahermosa. Trees for shadow, restrooms in the restaurant, two dogs.
Overnight ok for FREE, the restaurant close at 8:00pm. We ate huevos con tomate, oignons/frijoles/ queso y tortillas for 45 pesos, one for two is enough.
