Description

Behind the restaurant you can camp $3 usd per person. Dog friendly. Clean pit toilet. outside shower. You are many meters from the big empty beach. Not a swiming beach! The town is very limited. The camping is hot and dusty. The family is building rooms, and flushing toilts. Maybe the camping will get better.
Don't count on eating here. We asked what time the restaurant closed. They said 8, at 6:30 we went for dinner. They said they were closed. Bummer, super hungry and we didn't set up our kitchen and Joe's place too far to walk is only other resturant in town. Side note you can rent a room for $9 per person at Joe's Place and they might have room to park a normal sized rig, also dog friendly.

Not a good experience. Had to argue with owner not to pay 30$US a night for a parking in a field with no services. Party place with loud music on weekends. Left early in morning.

Do not recommend. as a previous poster said, he wanted $30/ night unto we showed him that other places charge $7-10. music was the loudest we have experienced with huge speakers that could be heard from over a mile away. Very little selection for food and the owner isn't very polite. Near closing time we asked for one last beer that we said we would bring back to the campers, but he refused. The beach isn't swim friendly and there are a crazy amount of mosquitos. We only stayed one night before going to Al Cielo for the rest of the week, which was a much better place. this is one of the worst places we have been to in Central America. The crowd that hangs out at the bar at night is sketchy. only good thing was the food and beer prices were reasonable.
