Having toured round all the available campgrounds (but not stayed there) in the area, we feel that this one offers the best stay. Walking distance to downtown, very close to the best restaurant we found and all the amenities you need for a Mexican stay. Things are maybe not so good if you don't get the waterfront but even if they claim there are none, a little bit of negotiation will get you what you want. Place turns into a bit of a lake during heavy rain. Showers are warm as is the hot tub. Staff is very Covid aware. Lots of local contractors hired to work on RV's in the park but we did not find this disruptive. The restaurant to the west can get a little noisy but it shuts up pretty early in the evening. We were unable to use the campground WiFi but our ATT worked fine,

Our first stop after crossing border at Sonoyta. Gorgeous spot overlooking sea. #15 ocean view. Paid $34 @ 2 nights. Expensive. Cell coverage supported our data. Free wifi in Reading Room with TV & library. Hot showers. Walked on beach to restaurant next door. Took cab to Fish Market for food & drinks.

Our little VW Vanagon was a dwarf in a sea of big American rigs. We asked to be in a quiet location and they put us near the office and shower/toilet/laundry block. The showers are hot, the beach in front of the RV Park is okay but crowded and it was reasonably quiet on a midweek night. The Wi-Fi is just so-so. All in all, not our style but good for one night.

Provided internet never really worked. There was a Sky Free network which was working well. Maybe from the hotel next door. T-Mobile & their internet works well.
