Description

Tour 4 tips is based on free walking tour system. At 10 am they offer a nice offbeat tour and the tour at 3 pm covers the classical highlights. We took the morning which was really nice, informative and told us more than the guidebook. Our guide was Ignacio.

they walk around with red-white striped shirts to easily recognise! they’re often on the blue square on the ground. the tour is free, but a tip is around 15-20.000 pesos.

we absolutely loved the tour with Felipe :) it’s a very vibrant tour with highlights of valparaiso. the tour’s free, but we tipped around 15.000 peso’s, which is ‘normal’. tour took us about three hours and it felt way shorter. the tour guides walk around with red-white stripes and they’re called Wally’s from where’s wally.

We did the 10am "offbeat walk". Great tour, absolutely recommendable. You should be there shortly before, no booking necessary. The tour lasts about 2.5-3 hours.

We did the 15:00 Valpo Highlights tour (duration approx. 2,5 - 3 hrs). No booking was required. We were told to show up 10 min early at Plaza Sotomayor. The tour was excellent, because we got to see some of the most important places around the center, accompanied by relevant pieces of information. The guide was very motivated, knowledgeable and took good care of the whole group. Suggested tip for the "free" walking tour is btw 8.000-12.000 CLP p.p. For us it was absolutely worth it!
