lovely beach in a bay with mangroves along the shore. We spent 4 nights here, the police frequently drive by and stopped once to check on us. No problems getting our ford transit connect down the gravel road into this bay.

Report Check-In

We pulled in here after dark. The road was a bit rough in the first 100m and then it was hard packed mud. Our 170 extended Sprinter was able to drive it fine. There was another RV parked near the Bach for the night so we felt safe to stay the night. We were able to hide our huge van in a parking spot in the mangroves to the right of the bay. The trucks on the main road were a bit loud in the evening but we woke up in the morning looking out into the mangroves straight from the back of our van. Really lovely. The bay is very shallow and apparently at low tide people go out to hunt for clams. Too shallow to snorkel but we did wade out into the water to look around. A few men showed up in the morning that looked like guards of some kind. They did not bother us.

Report Check-In

Stayed here, and was as described. Because we arrived on a Sunday, other spots nearby such as Tecolote were absolutely packed. This beach was less full, and all the locals left by 9pm leaving us with a nice and quiet (albeit overrun by ants) place to spend the night. Extremely close to Pichilinque port for the ferry as well.

Report Check-In

It’s good for one night, not really quiet but perfect if you want to stay close to la Paz.

Report Check-In

Small beach visited by a few locals during the day. Most left before sunset. They tend to leave their trash lying around (although there a two big waste bins).
First 20-50 meters down are pretty rough. Locals make it down to the beach in normal 2WDs but don't attempt to go down in the dark when you can't see the track and the bumps.

Report Check-In

We felt too much exposed to the Highway. We didn't stay. Entrance needs a bit of higher clearance. The crust of the space you pass after the entrance can be a bit deceiving. (thin with wet mud under). Drive along the edge and not through the middle.
