Great spot. Super quiet. Nobody here on a Friday night.

This place is actually nice. kind of like a parking lot but it's a 14-day stay. fire rings pet toilets trash and recycling and horseshoe ring. Peace and quiet. I'm only stopping for the night. but would stay longer

Report Check-In

Great place to overnight on the Rita Blanca NG. Pit toilets, trash cans, picnic tables, and fire pits. 2 bars on AT&T. Allowed to stay up to 14 days

We made a video of our stay: https://youtu.be/CBliL53kMFM

Easy access just a half mile off the paved hwy on a gravel road. This is basically a parking area with picnic tables, trash containers and vault toilet. A great place to stay for a night.

Nice spot for the night one other person on a Tuesday night. I had good cell service with Verizon and a cell booster.

Report Check-In

Perfect spot. Vaulted toilets, trees, picnic tables and very quiet.
Only one other vehicle in the parking lot. Stars were amazing!!

Report Check-In

Nice secluded area but almost no Verizon reception so we had to move on.

Area as described by others. Gov site says it's a picnic area. Posted as 14 day stay on on site info board. Good for overnight. Clean. Quiet. Our only issue were the flies. They were bad. Don't know if it's a seasonal thing?

Report Check-In

Clean, quiet and safe. We spent one night, only one other car. Pit toilets, pit grills, picnic tables. Only sounds were cattle and birds. It was fairly windy. Great sunrise. Sign says you can stay up to 14 days. Free.

Very clean, calm, and safe looking place. Restrooms were super close by, beautiful sky and very peaceful.

Report Check-In

Pit toilets with toilet paper, picnic benches, fire pits, very quiet. I pulled in at night and it was easy to find and only one other van here. Another car pulled in the middle of the night and everyone left early.

Great for stargazing at night but daytime there’s a lot of flies that’ll bite. Nice peaceful location overall!

One tiny bar of service for T-Mobile.

Report Check-In

Very clean picnic area. A little out of the way but easy to get to. The road coming in is super narrow but paved so be careful and watch your mirrors when meeting someone.

Report Check-In

Great place. Quiet. Convenient on the way across. Saw many birds including an owl.

This is a great place to stay! Sign said up to 14 days is allowed, picnic benches, bbq grills and bathrooms...also good service with T-Mobile.

Report Check-In

Decent little place— clean bathrooms & tables. Perfect for a stopover. Pretty quiet except for some teenager with too much testosterone who came at around 11 to terrorize everyone parked there.

Report Check-In

Nice enough, nothing fancy, but it was well kept. We shared the place with somebody who spent 95% of the time we were there in his car. It was nice and quiet, though. Virtually no vehicle traffic all night and morning. Good for a simple stopover.

everyone else described it well. clean bathroom. lots of flies. very peaceful and quiet. game warden came through around 5 to check on things.

Report Check-In

Great spot to overnight. Bathrooms are currently closed.

Report Check-In

When we arrived there were already 3 other vehicles there. We had to listen to the guy from Oregon with the silver Ford Escape talk on his cell phone for 3 hours. It's not a very big area. We already had our rooftop tent deployed or we would have gone to a nearby field instead.

Report Check-In

Dirt lot with pit toilets, plenty of space. Picnic tables and fire pits with grill grates. Could hear cows throughout the night.

Report Check-In

Great little over night spot just across the TX border. At first we were a little skeptical since you have to drive 15 mins down farm roads but we felt very safe. There ended up being an alternate route so we didn’t have to drive back down the dirt roads to get out. Has about 6 little campsites or so with grills and tables. Pit toilets and trash bins. There were a few people camping and a few in vans, very quite all night.

Report Check-In

Clean pit toilets and not many people, even on a Saturday night. Pretty remote, but a nice stop over.

Report Check-In

Great place!! Clean and as everyone has said quiet.

Report Check-In

Nice place as described above. Stayed for a night last April, too.

Report Check-In

Cute level gravel lot, super quiet, no lights. A few trees and a bunch of picnic tables.

Report Check-In

Very, very quiet spot for the night. It's really out in the middle of nowhere. There is one house nearby but that's it! The park is lovely and very well maintened. A lovely break from the parking lots we usually stop at for the night.

Report Check-In

Très calme ! Quelques arbres pour avoir de l'ombre, des tables de pique-nique, des barbecues et du bois mort disponible sur place !!!
