Stayed one night. Lots of traffic on the big road but not as much as it bothered us. Toilets closed at 18.00. Felt safe.

off season:
lots of trash and dead animals. no bathrooms, or restaurants, just the closed and abandoned infrastructure.
no one there. just a shady car drove by and waved.
very little noise coming from the road

We slept down on the parking lot just next to the beach. Javier the local told us to park here and enjoy is. He chatted about the spot very very friendly and he invited us to join him collect seaweed (kelp) in the morning at 07:00. We cooked it in olive oil and ate it with lemon. Was great! We invited him for a coffee. What a sweetheart and what a nice spot to sleep! Slept with the window open. It was so so nice. In the morning we saw mant baby seals on the beach.

A nice parking lot at the sea. A small bay and beach just of the road. A development with a swimming not in use anymore and some tent restaurants also not in use. Sometimes one is open to but beer etc. Very quiet. A fisherman comes at 6am to go fishing and some men collecting seaweeds in the morning that is exported to China for vitamins. Nobody bothers you. Nice people and a very safe place. There is a parking lot on top. Spent one night there. On the way back I parked at the tents which is lower and it is more quiet there from the traffic. Flat surface for motor homes and roof tent cars. No facilities except garbage tons for your waste. Spent in total 2 nights there on different dates.

Small bay, nice to swim, bins provided. Slept on the bottom carkpark.. more quiet from road. Wasn’t the safest we felt, pitch black and a couple guys came at night with a flash light walking around restaurant area, perhaps seeing what they could take. Showers, toilets and restaurants closed.

Really nice and quiet spot with view of the beach and a little bay! I also enjoyed watching people collecting kelp in the early morning. Sleep with the wave sound and stars above you.

Now should be high season but there was no one at night. People left around sunset. Little sound from trucks on Pan but didn't bother me at all.
The friendly lady who works in restaurant said it's safe. A few of them live there. Seems like they get used to have campers.

Not smelly and not much trash. They now have bins for that. Didn't get down to the water though.

Now baño with toilet paper: S/2 (negotiated to S/1)
One bucket for shower: S/10
Half bucket for shower: S/5
Swimming pool: S/6
All clean. I didn't check with other two restaurants, maybe the price differ.

The parking lot is flat for me. Easy access for every kind of vehicles, motors and bicycles.
Little or no signal for Claro. There's a free but tricky wifi. Need a specific spot to connect and stay stable. Seems to be turned off at night

Off season. Nothing open. Access to the on-beach parking near the restaurant is blocked with a locked chain, but the large upper, sloped parking lot is open. It is more in view of the road than places on the beach would be, but at night road traffic lights don’t shine on you. Several kelp harvesters work nearby and live in the surrounding hovels that seem pervasive on this stretch of the coast. Intermittent 3g entel and Movistar cell service. Ok place to sleep a night, but not inviting otherwise.

High season :

very nice overnight in the big parking lot on top of the cliff (not high).

good entrance for motorhomes.

we had fish in the restaurant El Carajo with the whole family. lovely evening.

Some noise from the trucks the whole night. took ear plugs. absolutely secure. quiet from Saturday to Sunday. no dogs.

best free place in the surrounding.

Fresh air and clean for Peru in high season

Camped here for the night on a Sunday. Quiet, and very friendly locals. Unlike others, we found this place to be filled to the brim with garbage. The beach was absolutely covered, as well as the areas surrounding the beach, which appeared to be used as both a toilet and garbage dump, and it was pretty smelly. However clean beaches are hard to find around here and we didn’t expect to find better so we stayed out of necessity. Monday morning someone began to make a half-hearted attempt at cleaning up but gave up part way through and still left the beach covered with garbage.

Great beach front camping spot. We arrived early 9 an and decided to enjoy a day off from traveling at beach, went swimming (cold) but a large family group (12) was enjoying water and day was hot so we jumped in swam about 5 minutes then enjoyed a solar shower at our rig. There is a swimming pool that was closed for season and operator was clearing out equipment. Also one restaurant on site that had cold beer and pop. Banos for .50 sol that were clean with flush toilets. Banos and restaurant open 9-5 but not sure for how much longer. Was 2 other restaurants on site that cleared out on day we were here. Very good clean up by operators (un Peruvian) as they left their areas spotless removing everything. Beach and camping area were very clean and no garbage!

Restaurant was definitely open when we passed by. There was a big Saturday evening party going on with loud music and lots of people. We decided to skip this and headed on to El Gatito a few kms further north.

Pulled a moto around the chain gate and parked/slept on beach in front of largest restaurant. Seemed safe enough, and lovely view of trucks passing high up on the road above. If you're out early in the morning, no one will ever know.

Report Check-In

Restaurant was closed (like for weeks/months) and the place looked largely abandoned. Would make for a great camp spot, we pushed south in search of a restaurant.
