Cool place to visit. Oscar let us park in the lower lot for $200 pesos. We had a good breakfast and then Oscar took us on a drive to and short walk to view the steam location at the volcano. We then did a 10 minute walk on an old two track with a view to the coast where he has a ranch o far off in the lower land area. His English is very good and we enjoyed hearing about the area. Looking forward to the 4-5 mile hiking trail leaving from burro stable below restaurant. Good WiFi even at lower parking lot. Beautiful long views.
Report Check-InAbsolutely beautiful. Fantastic people. The food was amazing. They welcomed me late and provided a great home cooked meal. They have cabins to stay in or you can stay in your van (I travel in a vw bus)
Views are spectacular!
You can make reservations for the cabins in advance.
Really nice cabins for 450, very calm and peaceful. Inexpensive restaurant, super nice people! Wifi, hot water! We were surprised how much we liked it here.
Report Check-InLoved this stop! Oscar met us when we arrived. We camped/camper and he offered access to Wi-Fi/bathrooms with our overnight rate. He showed us a great hike that we did before dinner and then we had dinner in the restaurant. Amazing views, great food and nice family. Learned about the area from Oscar. I believe you can also arrange guided tours/trips.
Report Check-InBeautiful Place, friendly host, 5 cabins, (each with 2 separate rooms). Bathroom, showers, electricity. All have volcano views I believe and the grounds are attractive.
WiFi in the dining room/common room)
when I visited it was up to mx450 for a cabin, and apparently no camping option apparently. This is the offseason,/shoulder season.
Report Check-InWe stayed here for one night with our Camper. Oscar welcomed us very friendly and we could stay on the lower parking area for free. We hiked the 5m loop trail to the lava fields and enjoyed a very nice dinner at the Restaurant and the stunning views of the vulcano.
Report Check-InOscar offered to let me stay in my van and "pay what you want"... Obv, very kind with great food, bucket shower, and fully charged. Quiet, solitude, tranquilo... Stayed a few days and would definitely go back.
Report Check-InRustic cabins and restaurant on a hill with a beautiful view of the active Volcán Tres Vírgenes (Three Virgins Volcano). Cabins are 400 pesos per night with double bed and one twin, bathroom with hot water shower and terrace with volcano view. Restaurant with views open from 8am-8pm with WiFi. Guided hiking tours available without prior reservation for as little as 150 pesos per person. Guided trek to the volcano summit also available by reservation only with Cuquita 615-10-676-95. Didn’t stay tonight but plan on returning on our way back. Looks like a great, relaxing spot!
Report Check-InNice, very rustic & simple cabin rooms. Beautiful views of desert valley. No wifi at this time. Rooms clean/sparse. Creaky floors. Friendly family runs it and are good cooks.
Report Check-InI stayed at Tres Virgenes in a cabana a year or two ago. Unfortunately the place has deteriorated somewhat since my last visit. Seems the women on staff there have let things go & there is a lot more trash around the property. There were students from an Ensenada university there doing research so perhaps they don't focus much on tourists anymore. The man, Borrego, who did tours is not there anymore. 250 pesos/cabana/1 person/night.
Report Check-InBeautiful place, nice views, 350 pesos per casita per night, private bathroom with toilet and shower. There is also a restaurant.
