There is a large parking lot in front of this convent. Nearly level. You find some gravel, some grass, and shade trees. Peaceful over night. Good Claro data reception.

Arrived after dark as well and parked outside the gate. Perhaps I misunderstood the comments and you can park inside the gate. It’s a great spot and town is very tranquilo and safe however I had the misfortune of the cops knocking on my window at 10:30 pm. They just looked at my passport and left. No problems but never a great way to get a good nights sleep. That aside I still recommend the place.
Report Check-Inmuy bonito lugar frente al convento, con jardín y sombra de los árboles.
Report Check-InWe arrived after dark and they told us just to park anywhere on the entrance road. When we left, we saw the place by the swings and that would have been better.
Report Check-InThis parking area near the swings and playground equipment is the best place to park. Very quiet when we visited and only a few feet from the Convent entrance.
Report Check-InWe parked just a little further down at an abandoned park. There is a swift canal of water. Many collectivos wash here. Quiet night. Short walk to one restaurant and a couple of tiendas.
