This is a nice campsite with flat ground.

Report Check-In

camp is ok. however the water looks like unfiltered riverwater. The unfortunate surprise of the morning was 5 masai ladies selling their goods in camp. we decided to move to greenwood camp next door.

As mentioned before. Very nice and big campsite, many spots with shade (although there is none if you stay next to the river). John, the owner is very nice. We had 3 hours left of our ticket coming from mara triangle and really liked to see the Cheetah. We paid 1500 for John as a guide in the park for the last 3 hours and he took us straight to the Cheetahs in 20 min. He knows the park very well. Also laundry service but very expensive (1500 for 3 kg?). Camping 1000 pppn. Very good and clean ablutions. Lots of birds around and bush babies jumping around at night. Beautiful restaurant and place to sit next to the river. Beers 4 euro. WiFi not very good at Restaurant. Firewood 500 ksh.

Very nice campsite. Much better fhen others around. Clean, friendly, nice and cosy restaurant. The place to be!!

Report Check-In

Perfect place to stay if you want to go to the Masai Mara NP, but don’t want to stay IN the park. Next to Talek Gate, directly at Talek River.
Very nice and frendly staff and owner, food in the restaurant delicious! You can buy activities hier - game drive, baloon safaris etc.
Also big campsite, big rig frendly (MAN 6x6). I recommend this place.

we stayed 4 nights here, camped direct next to the river. great place, restaurant is delicious.

Very nice campsite with good and clean abolition, kitchen and wunderful stuff. There is a hudge campsite we camped next to the river. They have a real good kitchen. We paid 1000 KS pp the dinner is 2000 but worth it. We had a day with Edward in the park, which he knows very well... Like his living room. He charged 3000 but he negotiated with the entrance stuff and saved us 2500. We first went to Crocodile Camp but it was very run down so we are happy that we did not stay there.

Report Check-In

We stayed at the Arube Lodge campsite for 5 nights. The campsite looked a bit neglected. Still stands out from most of the camps in the area. Still KES 900 ppn. The site is separated from the access to the neighboring lodges and camps by a (narrow) hedge. At night it is quiet with the exception of the howling of hyenas, etc ... Unfortunately there is only 1 place directly on the river. Cold beer with KES 470 very expensive.

Report Check-In

Great place right next to the Talek gate. Rates are 900ksh pppn for camping. Big kitchen area available with running water.

Report Check-In

Very nice camp site.. the best river view if you go all the way to the end. A bit close to the toad but traffic is only upto about 8pm. A distant generator runs until about 10. Across the river there is occasional wildlife. The showers and toilets are the vest..

Report Check-In

900 Ksh ppn for camping with own gear, hot showers, Western Toilets, right next to Talek Gate, really nice place

Report Check-In

$7pppn.
Campsite is nice enough, showers are hot and clean.
Bar is super nice tho with lovely viewing platform.
Edward who works here is a great guide for the park, he made sure we saw so many animals and was also very cheap 2,500 for the whole day (he came in our car) he knows the park so well. We saw a few different prides of lions, two leopards, a group of cheetahs, the wilderbeast crossing the river, elephants, hyenas and all the other usual suspects.
Highly recommend him to be used.

They now charge 9 usd pp which they transferred into 1100 ksh pp. Manager was quite hostile and we got a weird vibe from him, so we stayed in the nearby Talek camp.

A very nice place to stay for longer. Very closed to the Talek gate. Gerdi and her Team are very nice people and very helpful. You can book a guide from here for the Massai Mara National Park. All very clean, restaurant offers tasty food.

Report Check-In

Close to Talek gate. Huge camping grounds with shade. Rooftop tents easy accommodated. Hot and very clean showers and toilets. Security 24/7 and all staff are super friendly. Restaurant and bar on river, but bit pricey. Tents also available. Will definitely camp here again.

Report Check-In

Large grassy campsite and can park with a great view of the river we heard elephant in the river at night and saw other wildlife too. Amazing bar with huge viewing platform
And lots of comfy seating areas, they will light a fire for you too if you wish. The campsite has a kitchen (with sink and water) with space to seat and eat in security from wildlife. Toilets and showers have been recently updated and are very clean. Had hot water both night and morning. Only downside is the camping area is about 5 minute walk to bar, but safe as lots of people around. 800ksh pppn it’s also 2 minutes from the Talek Gate.

Report Check-In

Big place only with shadow for small cars, no electriciti and light in the night. Hot showers and flush toilets. Bar and restaurant in a tent, nice terrace to the river. Good foot, but the price are a little bit higher. The organize Game Drives, but not professional. It is an old car end when it is rain hard it comes through the roof. The staffs are very friendly.ä

Report Check-In

This camp site is decent but could do with more attention from the management in the way of installing security lights and a good kitchen as the current one is made of ramshackle corrugated iron and has one tap only that spews water uncontrollably. Security also needs to be improved as Baboons were walking unchallenged through camp, and they were HUGE. Otherwise nice place
